If all goes well, we'll be joining you. I moved our dummy date to this cruise in a secret verandah. I'm trying to talk DH's cousin and his wife into coming along too.

Awesome! And hello to a fellow Sacramentan! I have done pretty much every adventure in SF there is to do, but I am very excited about Vancouver and Victoria. Hopefully this will be a warm up to convincing the wife to do a Alaska cruise!

You'll love Victoria and Vancouver, they're both beautiful. We've done the Pacific Coast cruise with Princess from SF to Vancouver before and loved it. We ended up renting a car and driving to Seattle to fly home as one way flights from Vancouver were so high.

Keep working on your wife for Alaska as that cruise was amazing, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Hello...we booked this cruise yesterday and we are thrilled and can't wait. Hopefully a trip to Disneyland before the cruise. It's been years since I've been there and my DH has never been.

My DH (Michael) and I (Monika) will be joining you. We are from Delaware. This will be our 11th Disney cruise and first time as Platinum member!!!

Looking forward to chatting with you and meeting you.

    Take care...:flower3:

Hi everyone - we booked this cruise today and will be sailing with you! I'm Mary and I'll be sailing with my DH Mark.

We love sailing on the Wonder and can't wait to get back to Victoria and Vancouver. We saw both before our Alaskan cruise in the summer of 2011.

We've sailed with Monika and Michael before and look forward to getting to know everyone else.

Wow, looks like we will have quite a group for this cruise! I am super excited! We are planning on spending a few days in Vancouver after the cruise, then taking the bus to Seattle to fly home to Sacramento. It is amazing how much more expensive it is to fly out of Vancouver, yipes!

I volunteer to coordinate the FE, does anyone know how we reserve an area for a meet and greet?

:grouphug: We are going to have a blast!

How much was the car rental to Seattle? I was looking at www.quickcoach.com around $40 per person to take a bus from Vancouver to SEATAC.

    Welcome aboard!

    Welcome aboard!

For any of the DIS meets we've done we've never had to reserve an area. Most of ours have been in the Promonade lounge at 3pm on sailing day. It is easy to find, lots of seats, and there is even a stage area where we've been able to get group pictures done.

Very cool Monika - thanks for sharing!

We plan on staying a few days in Vancouver after the cruise much like we did a few days before our Alaskan cruise. Two recommendations from me:

If you want to see a lot of Vancouver on your own I suggest the BigBus Hop On/Hop Off bus. http://bigbus.ca/home/ A great way to see the city. There was even a special bigbus that toured around Stanley Park and was included in our original bigbus price.

If you want an organized tour with everything taken care of I highly recommend Landsea tours. http://www.vancouvertours.com/ We did the tour to Victoria with them last year and it was fantastic. The groups are small, the guides friendly and knowledgeable and it was an amazing day. We plan to use them to go to Whistler one day on this trip.

Our first cruise is this April on the Dream but I'm a believer and booked this cruise Thursday morn! Will be pulling the kidos out of school for it...What a fantastic way for them to see the Golden Gate Bridge for the first time! Hoping to fit in DL prior. Love the idea of flying out of Seattle home! Not only will it save big bucks but will be another cool city we can share with our children!

me, DH, (and in 2013) DD 11, DS 8, DS almost 5

I don't remember since it was five years ago. The rate for the bus doesn't sound too bad.
