The Moroccan pavilion is directly sponsored by the Moroccan government, the rest of the countries are sponsored by private companies affiliated with the countries they represent.

Given the current financial situation of Greece I know it is near to impossible...however, I think Golden Age architecture would be really beautiful in Epcot

Why aren't these in your signature? I can only tell because I have signatures turned off.

I hadn't entered a formal signature because I prefer to change my own fairly frequently. And I sometimes prefer not to display a signature at all.

However, until your post, I also hadn't noticed that the option to 'turn off' signatures existed. So, it never occurred to me that my choice might impact the viewing preferences of other board participants. I apologize.

Too, until I began experimenting with it just now, I wasn't aware that the space provided for automatically-displayed signatures is limited. Or that, if I compose one now, that signature will populate in every post I've previously submitted. Beneath every above-the-line signature already displayed.

I think http://www.yesterland.com/worldshowcase.html has the best explanation of how countries are funded. Morocco is the only country funded by a government. All the rest are either private businesses or unfunded.

I would DEFINITELY say Greece. Australia is a good one too. There isn't much african culture in the WS, however I think Africa is represented so well in Animal Kingdom that it doesn't need to be duplicated

I agree with others that suggest it must include a ride.

And, I have never understood why there needs to be a national sponsor, that is rubbish. Disney can just build it if they wanted to make everyone happy. Just like adding Carsland, new fantasyland, or the Harambe market in DAK.

Since Brasil is 3rd in WDW attendance behind USA and UK,I think they "deserve" the next Country and it would be AMAZING to see it in July!!!!

I think we need to move past the idea that Epcot isn't expanding because of lack of sponsorship. That has never been the case and even if it were the case 25 years ago, Disney could still expand if they wanted to. They have a plan and they are moving forward on it. While most of us dislike that most of the present plan involves more DVC villas, it doesn't change the fact that a ton of construction is happening at the resort (to include AK and hopefully HS soon) and even Disney can only expand so fast. At the moment, that rate of expansion doesn't include Epcot (aside from the next golden egg to be laid by the Frozen goose).

More DVC villas!!! That would be brilliant! The first hotels INSIDE a park. They could have a Swiss style hotel between Italy and Germany, a Russian resort between Germany and China, maybe a Thai style resort between Japan and Morocco. Yes, you could now buy a timeshare membership inside a park, and they wouldn't even need to add restaurants.
