Which Countries?

I would like to see more South America, Asia, or Australia and New Zealand

Peru
Brazil
Australia
Thailand
Cambodia
A Caribbean country like Jamaica

Australia and Greece and my top 2 picks. Maybe Peru? Costa Rica? Mongolia? Tanzania?

I would say Russia, Australia or New Zealand, South Africa, Brazil or some other South American country.

I agree with many of the previous posters:
Greece
Russia
Australia
Spain
Brazil
A Caribbean Nation

I would love to see Australia or Brazil added.

Many years ago I remember walking around World Showcase and seeing two signs that said coming soon. One of the countries was Israel. Not sure what happened - maybe they were concerned about security issues. Does anyone else remember this or what the other country was?

I've read about this a few times and since the country itself has to fund a lot of the project, some of the pavilions that were supposed to be coming ended up coming to an abrupt halt due to funding

Given how food-centric Epcot is, you'd think they could use F&W booths as a barometer to help decide (if they were ever inclined to expand). Honestly though, we won't see any work at Epcot until AK and HS are done with their expansions (if they ever announce anything at HS) and that won't be until the early 2020s.

I'm more interested in updates to Future World. And if they do anything else to World Showcase, I would rides are involved.

Yeah WS & FW both have a lot of room to expand and much of what's already in FW could use an update. Still, don't hold your breath.

Five spaces? I can only find 3-4?
Between Norway and Mexico (although it looks like they are building something there, Frozenish expansion?)

Yes, I believe that's where the Frozen Meet and Greet will be.

I don't think they'll add new countries. If anything, they'll come up with another "festival" like Food and Wine, and Flower and Garden.

I'd first look around for a country that could afford to sponsor a WS pavilion and would be willing. That would probably lead to an oil-rich country somewhere that wants to promote tourism or improve its public image. Off hand, I don't know what countries would fall in that category.

Well, historic Persia (Iran) has just won the Middle-Eastern Sweepstakes ... :)

The fact of the matter is that the Frozen ride will bring in heavy crowds for at least a year after it's done. They don't need to expand beyond that for a while.

Don't be so sure that they will focus on Epcot after DAK and DHS are done with their projects. Rumors are going around that some of the money from the $3.5B budget that WDW is getting for upgrades could be used for a Frontierland expansion in MK.

Yeah, I'm not saying Epcot is next, just that AK and HS are definitely next. Tom over at www.disneytouristblog.com did an article recently on how to make MK look more like the flagship park that it should be (just his opinion, not official or even rumor).

Why aren't these in your signature? I can only tell because I have signatures turned off.

I'll go with Brazil and New Zealand (more exotic than Australia) as my preferences. South Africa or Kenya would also be nice, but too much overlap with AK.

With all the politics around Russia now, I don't see that happening, though it could be nice. Hungary or Czech Republic would also be interesting choices.

I remember Israel being on the table, but while we may never know the actual reasoning, speculation about it being a terrorist target seems like an obvious reason. Given the 1972 Munich Olympics, I'm surprised that the idea was given as much consideration as it apparently was.

Greece
Yeah....not gonna happen
