I didn't see this mentioned yet... but I did notice a lot of people mention buying water....
WATER IS FREE!!
Bring an empty bottle and head over to a place that serves fountain soda (not bottles). Request Tap Water and you'll get a nice cold cup of water with ice. I pour in into my bottle and then get a refill later in the day when it gets warm (or I finish it).
Free and cold water all day long.
Universal charges... so this doesn't work there.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in our society we go to the right because that is how we drive, not because we are right hand dominant. My understanding is in England, people automaticly turn left, because they drive on the left hand side of the road. The same applies with turning right more than left. If one turns left here, they have to cross a line of traffic. In a chase situation it could be quite hazzardous. So, since we are used to keeping to the right, thats what we do, whether driving, or lining up for lunch.
Humm....I always go to the right at MK....
Yes, people never get drunk at (or before going to) the parks.Or they're drunk. Good thing you don't have to deal with that.
My thoughts precisely. You've obviously never encountered the drinkers around the World.

They often have free samples of fudge in the Confectionary.
The princess often have shorter waits in Epcot than in Toontown- look for Belle with Beast in France, Mulan in China (yes, I know- technically not a princess), Aurora also in France (look closely- she's often hidden in a corner with a short wait.), Snow White in Germany, and Jasmine usually with Aladdin and Genie in Moracco.
Upon entering a park, scan all the turnstyles for the shortest wait before getting in line- don't automatically follow everyone else.
A few we learned on our last trip...
- Take a lunch with you and eat it when waiting in lines
- Take plastic bag to put your purse/backpack/camera bag/etc. in for Kali River Rapids (you will be glad you did). There is sometimes not room in the storage area in the raft and it is not waterproof.
- The bar area in the DTD House of Blues is a great place to get a seat without waiting and a great meal
- You can order food and drinks at the tables in the entrance to the Raglan Road restaurant area (just off the inside bar)
- Buy your DTD World of Disney store purchases in the Mens section, less waiting
- Sit in the back of BTMR for the best ride
- The tip about looking straight out while going down Splash Mountain is great but also try looking backwards! We did this and it is certainly a different perspective.
- Why do so few people use the back walkway between Toontown and Tomorrowland? It's also a great place to get a pic of the train.
- By unanimous family vote, the coaster to the left on Space Mountain is better.
That's all for now!
Ciao!
Curt
We met Aurora in France and there was NO ONE else around.
Actually, a tip about Cast Members: One of the things our family does is carry some note cards with us to write down the names of CMs who go above and beyond, and "shine" at what they're doing. We put down their name, where they were working, and brief description of what was exemplary. We then make a stop at guest relations, on the way out of the park or resort, ask to see a manager, and "turn them in." It never fails to delight Guest Services, and it's good training for my kids in noticing what there is around them to be grateful for.
Same with us! They were so happy to see us! She is a bit tucked away in the garden.
We also saw Snow White with a small line just before.
Unfortunately, we just missed Mary P in the UK.
Here's my best tip. If you have some sort of problem and you need us to help you, just be honest. Don't come up to me and make up some big long story about how your plane is leaving in an hour and you need a fastpass for right now even though we don't have any left. Just tell me what's going on and I will do my best to help you. I can't promise that you will always get exactly what you want, but I can promise that we are people too, and we understand that sometimes things happen beyond your control, and you need help.
Also, a tip specific to SM:
The tracks on Space Mountain are THE SAME. They are mirror images of each other. The ONLY difference is that 'A' side (on the left as you walk in) is 10 ft longer because the tracks cross one another. One does not go faster, and one does not have more drops, or anything else along those lines. I know it seems like it isn't true, I didn't believe it at first either, but I can promise you, it is true.
SO, if you are in line for Space, and we ask you to use the other side, don't be offended, you're not missing anything!!!
Thank you

Also, we were entering Epcot one morning and everyone was lined up a dozen or more deep at the center turnstiles. The far right one to the right was empty. We went over to it and the CM remarked that he loves the mob mentality!
Mind if I ask what time it was?
(Although, I will say that there's a baobab tree near Tusker house that is *very* real)
