On a different forum I look at one person who has just returned said that there is a lot security around both in the hotels and park. Vehicles, including taxis are being checked as they go in, you are scanned as you enter the hotel and the parks. There are also lots of security staff both in and out of the park, including army personnel with guns and sniffer dogs. But even with all this security it did stop them enjoying their holiday.

Another said that they felt very safe as the security checks are very thorough.

i was in sousse in tunisia on the same stretch of beach as the terrorist attack 2 years ago. we were there 2 weeks before it happened. security was high. armed police and the army everywhere. police on horse back patrolling along the beach. we felt safe. but as we know, nowhere is safe. if someone is really determined to hurt people then its nigh on impossible to stop them. but we have to live life. no point staying locked up in your house to frightened too go out. life is too short for that.
