Look familiar, Mickey Mom?
Hey, I remember seeing that sign on Kilimanjaro Safaris. We got a good laugh about it also. What a great idea to use it for the title of your TR!!! Too funny.....
The title connection, I love it! Very cute! Funny how these little bits of silliness really make the vacation....
Great update!!!
Whooo...love the explanation of the random dancing what a great title idea and what fun for you and your family!!
Considering I am going to be eating at Sanaa in the near future I really can't wait for your pictures!! YAY!
What great inspiration for your Title!
I totally understand the title to your report....my niece and I often make those movements when we first sit down for a ride/attraction that has the sign posted!!
Dessert came next. Madeline had the egg-less chocolate cake,
the kids both had ice cream and George and I ordered the cardamom butter cake with saffron cream. Oh. My. The butter cake was absolute heaven, especially dipped in the saffron cream.
Ok, is it crazy that I just laughed out loud at both of those, even though I have no idea what the context is?
We chose as our breads 2 pieces of Naan, and Paneer Paratha. Paneer is a very mild Indian cheese which one of the breads was stuffed with and as our dips cucumber raita (a yogurt sauce), red pepper hummus, and tamarind jelly. The breads were a nice change from regular bread but fairly bland without the accompaniments which were all good. I selected the tandoori lamb chops for my entrée.
Jeff explained that the lamb would usually be cooked medium rare which was fine with me. It was unbelievably tender and juicy. Madeline ordered the sustainable fish, in this case Halibut, wrapped in grape leaves.

Baby Simba!!!
(I'm going back to read the rest now.)
I just love that baby Simba. The bracelet is very pretty too!
Saana sounds really good! It's on my list of places to eat someday!
So Baby Simba was born in AK. I'm so curious which one my daughter will choose this time. I am LOVING that bracelet, a lot and I'm so sorry to hear the Mickey pin is gone. (Anyone looked on the bottom of LL's shoe? Sorry, couldn't resist! )
Amelia zeroed in on that bracelet within the first couple of hours after we arrived at AK. She was determined to make it hers! to it being on the bottom of LL's shoe! I remembered LL's story though and told her to check on the bottom of her shoe. No such luck.
Thanks for the reusable bags pic. I'd heard of them but didn't know what they looked like. I will absolutely be getting those. Boy is the DH going to be in shock at the amount of shopping I will be doing!
I think the shopping bags are super cute.
Well it sure sounds like you enjoyed yourself! Did you get to go swimming before calling it a night, or was the rain drenching enough?
Oh Sanaa looks wonderful. That definitely goes on my list of want to try
And kids and stuffed animals! Do they ever get tired of them? I'm sure we have over a hundred in our house and they still want more and won't let me get rid of any That Baby Simba is cute though! If Michael ever saw him, he'd be living at our house
