What great inspiration for your Title! 
I’m going to start with the results of our AK shopping. Amelia actually had two items in mind when we began our hunt. The first was this bracelet.
It’s made of clay, Fimo I think?, animal print beads. She’s actually worn it almost every day since she bought it. The other item we don’t have a picture of, sadly. It was a Mickey head pin in a simple tiger stripe, except the orange stripes were tan. It was simple and very cute. Amelia attached it to the flap on the outside of her purse and a couple of days later noticed it was missing.
Madeline and Amelia both were hugely obsessed with The Lion King when they were younger. They used to act it out daily, with frequent fights over who got to be Nala or Kiara. We own the Lion King game, Lion King coloring book and story books and Lion King figurines. The obsession with the movie has faded over the years, but apparently seeing The Festival of the Lion King brought it back, because Madeline saw this guy and had to have him. Look familiar, Mickey Mom?
I had one small shopping goal for myself. I wanted reusable shopping bags!
Aren’t they cute? I bought 2, but wish I’d gotten a few more. They were $2.50 each, I believe, and would make great thanks for taking care of my pets, house, mail, etc. gifts. I use these every time I go to the store and they make me happy.
And on to Sanaa!! We left AK for our 5:35 reservation at the AKL, in the Kidani section. What a beautiful resort! We headed downstairs to check in, and then, since we’d spent the whole day in the park, we found restrooms to freshen up. After we’d washed hands and faces and pulled a brush through our hair, it was time to be seated. Our server’s name was Jeff and he was excellent, explaining the cuisine, how the Tandoori oven worked, and making suggestions when appropriate. We were on the DDP, but since my son is crazy for Naan, we ordered the bread sampler appetizer.
We chose as our breads 2 pieces of Naan, and Paneer Paratha. Paneer is a very mild Indian cheese which one of the breads was stuffed with and as our dips cucumber raita (a yogurt sauce), red pepper hummus, and tamarind jelly. The breads were a nice change from “regular” bread but fairly bland without the accompaniments which were all good. I selected the tandoori lamb chops for my entrée.
Jeff explained that the lamb would usually be cooked medium rare which was fine with me. It was unbelievably tender and juicy. Madeline ordered the sustainable fish, in this case Halibut, wrapped in grape leaves.
It was unwrapped at the table and served with a ginger pickle lime sauce. Maddy didn’t enjoy the sauce so George and I used it on our rice pilaf, but she loved the fish. I had a bite and agreed, plain but beautifully steamed.
George ordered the strangest thing, dum biryani, which was like an Indian calzone, with vegetables, rice and spices wrapped in dough. He thought it was good, not great, and I agree. It was the only spicy, although mildy, dish we had. He wouldn’t order it again.
Amelia got the tandoori chicken kids meal which she enjoyed.
Ian got his ubiquitous cheese pizza. Dessert came next. Madeline had the egg-less chocolate cake,
the kids both had ice cream and George and I ordered the cardamom butter cake with saffron cream. Oh. My. The butter cake was absolute heaven, especially dipped in the saffron cream.
We were seated in a large booth, which was perfect for our family, but if we were a smaller party I’d definitely request a table next to the window. The restaurant looks out onto the savannah and there were giraffes right next to the window. Would we eat here again? Absolutely. We enjoy Indian food and liked it, but I don’t think you have to be an Indian food fanatic to be a fan of Sanaa. The food was much milder than we expected, so pickier eaters or those afraid of spice will be just fine. Getting to visit the AKL is a huge bonus in my book.
While we were enjoying our meal, the sky was getting darker and darker. We had decided it would be fun to take a bus to DHS and then a boat back to the BC, where we’d take a dip in SAB before bed, so we went outside and caught a bus headed toward DHS. A minute before the bus stopped the skies just opened up. We didn’t have time to open ponchos before we got off the dry bus and into a full on monsoon! We ran to the BC bus stop, which was thankfully close, and boarded a waiting bus. In the 2 or 3 minutes we were in the rain, we became thoroughly drenched. The rain continued through our ride back to the BC and our walk to our room. Our SAB plans thwarted, we showered and hit the sack, to dream about Cinderella's castle. Tomorrow we were going to the Magic Kingdom!!

So Baby Simba was born in AK. 
I'm so curious which one my daughter will choose this time. I am LOVING that bracelet, a lot and I'm so sorry to hear the Mickey pin is gone. (Anyone looked on the bottom of LL's shoe? Sorry, couldn't resist!

Thanks for the reusable bags pic. I'd heard of them but didn't know what they looked like. I will absolutely be getting those. Boy is the DH going to be in shock at the amount of shopping I will be doing!

Thanks. I had a hard time with a title, and this became such a theme for us I'd hoped others would get a kick out of it too.

And kids and stuffed animals! Do they ever get tired of them? I'm sure we have over a hundred in our house and they still want more and won't let me get rid of any

Love the story about your title! I have never even noticed those signs. We have a couple of things from our trip too and it's so fun to say them now to relive a little Disney fun.
Sanaa looks interesting but not something that would be up our alley. I'm glad that you enjoyed your meals there.

Hi! I hope you don't mind if I tag along here! It's been a long time since I hopped on a TR of someone I don't know but your title lured me in and I'm hooked! I used your handy dandy links to get all caught up and even perused your pre-trippie too! What fun you are having so far!
Another thing that drew me in is that I am from SW Michigan too! I grew up in Battle Creek.

I totally understand the title to your report....my niece and I often make those movements when we first sit down for a ride/attraction that has the sign posted!!

Sadly, I don't think we'll be trying Sanaa, even though we'll be staying at Kidani. The kids are pushing for breakfast at Boma instead.

Ok, is it crazy that I just laughed out loud at both of those, even though I have no idea what the context is?
LOL! that's awesome!
Both are from DS8. He kept calling baggage claim (at MCO) baggage clam.
It cracked us up the entire trip and he STILL calls it baggage clam.
And for some reason he can't say Epcot correctly. It's Eckpot. no matter how much we all laugh and giggle, it's Eckpot. And the name has become contagious.
Contagious to jello.
Which is some really random saying of DS10's that I can't even remember where it came from. Oy, I must be tired, I'm getting silly
Must have been the 2 day road trip with 4 boys, one of whom kept yelling

I am SOLD. Sanaa is officially a must do now. If for NO other reason than that cake! I MUST have that cake. And I am not a dessert person.

Amelia zeroed in on that bracelet within the first couple of hours after we arrived at AK. She was determined to make it hers!

Yes, we did look like we went swimming in our clothes.

Both girls were sure they wouldn't be buying any stuffed animals this trip, but the Disney fever hit once we arrived. Amelia ended up with another one later in the week. AND they multiply somehow once they enter your house, kind of like Tribbles or Gremlins! We've gotten ride of bunches and bunches over the years and there still doesn't seem to be any less!
