There is NO random dancing at Disney! A June TR *NEW 9/19 *FINAL THOUGHTS*

Finally all caught up! Loving your report Christine! :thumbsup2

I agree - Kali is too short!! But, we love it. :goodvibes

Can't wait for more! :cool1:

You had a great Animal Kingdom day! I laughed at the photo of DD and her hair in the fan.. not AT her, of course, but at the idea that her hair got stuck in one, and the look on her face as a result of this unfortunate mishap! I am sorry that happened to her, I am sure it hurt... she seemed to have a good humor about it. I can't wait to hear what you think about Sanaa!! :thumbsup2

What a great day! Lost KTTW, hair in fans, passed out little boys, soaking shorts and chafed thighs. Treasures and traumas.

Pretty much sounds perfect!

I can't wait to read about Sanaa!

Thanks Carissa! We really liked Kali also. There's so much to look at! I just wish it could have been a couple of minutes longer.

Oh no, you can go ahead and laugh at her.:rotfl: She said it didn't hurt. Mishaps like that one just seem to find her, but yes, she's a very good sport when they do.:)

Treasures and traumas! I love it.:goodvibes We really enjoyed our AK day, for sure.:thumbsup2

I may or may not have mentioned to the girls at this point that if they'd taken thier mother's advice and put their hair up, they might not be quite as hot.

And now it was time for me to fulfill a promise I'd made to Amelia earlier in the day: We could go shopping! She had seen a bracelet and a pin at some carts or kiosks that morning and I told her we'd be back later. Now it was later, so while George and Madeline treked back to Asia to challenge the Yeti 2 more times with their FPs collected that morning, Amelia, Ian and I began searching for her treasures.

Also, one of them may not have had her hair twirled up in a fan blade. ;)

Shopping! :yay: I am a fan of shopping. :)

All the sweet treats looks good.

Flame Tree is one of our favorites, and I agree exactly with your review - I like the chicken and coleslaw, but the beans are not my favorite. I could never do a whole turkey leg on my own. I have a pretty good idea how much got thrown away!

Haven't read in a while as my computer was down. All caught up and sounds like you had a great time so far. Can't wait for your Sanaa review.

Sing it, Sister! You'll notice in our pictures from the next day both had their hair up.

Ugh, computer malfunctions are awful. Glad you're back.:goodvibes

Sanaa and shopping pictures coming tonight, I promise, but I have to add a bonus update here because I just realized I left out something very important in my AK day posts: an explanation for the title of my TR!! Yes, I guess I got a little too anxious to post about our day and forgot all about it, so here it is. We had boarded our jeep at Kilimanjaro Safaris all set for an African adventure, when the driver of our safari briefly went over some safety rules. He pointed out the sign attached to the front inside of the jeep that looked like this.

He said, “Stay seated at all times please, or as the sign clearly shows, No Dancing.” My family, clearly easily amused, thought this was funny. From then on, whenever we’d get on a bus, monorail or ride with that sign, one of us would say, “Remember, no random dancing.” Then we’d giggle like 7 year olds. There were several occasions when one of us would break into a dance just so we could say, "Look! I'm dancing randomly!" We love inside jokes in our family and this, along with a couple of others to be revealed a little later, will be forever cemented in our family lore of our 2009 trip to Disney World.

I don't think our driver said that! I remember the picture and laughing at it but not making the dancing connection. I love family inside jokes. We have 2 from this last trip.

I totally understand the title to your report....my niece and I often make those movements when we first sit down for a ride/attraction that has the sign posted!! :lmao:

Ok, is it crazy that I just laughed out loud at both of those, even though I have no idea what the context is?:rotfl:

What a fun little detail about the random dancing:goodvibes It's usually those little moments of togetherness that make vacations so special:)

Hey, I remember seeing that sign on Kilimanjaro Safaris. We got a good laugh about it also.:lmao: What a great idea to use it for the title of your TR!!! Too funny.....:rotfl:
