Yes, and I wish I had enough $$$$ or points or both. I think those pictures are the closest I'm going to get. Our villa is a lake view. I didn't have enough points for the MK view. I'm hoping we also get a view of that really cool pool.

I'm having a night here!

Was getting some paperwork ready at work and realize that I don't have the labels I need for it! We order from Staples and it was too late to get them ordered for delivery and even so the order would not have been delivered until tomorrow afternoon. No biggie though I will just have to go to the store and get some.

Go to the store, get the labels and get a nice surprise in that I got our company Staples discount. KFC is right across the street and I decided that I wanted to get their new grilled chicken.

Go the KFC, it's a 15 min. wait for the grilled so I get the regular and ended up waiting in the drive-thru the 15 minutes I didn't want to wait for the chicken and then some.

Get home, get on my nightgown, sit down here to the computer, turn it on, straighten my desk a little, take everything out of the bag, THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME A FORK!?!?!

Aggravated and I do not want to go upstairs to get one, go to pick up a pack of the hotsauce I got, there sits the fork they "didn't" give me!

You know the saying "if it had been a snake it would have bit me", it could have eaten my whole hand!

I'm done with dinner and going to eat some chocolate now!

Ann, great report at the dr! I can't believe not too long ago I was going to the dr all the time...it seems like so long ago. I am happy for Ron too...it is great that his employer is recognizing the baby to be!

Maria, Thank you for checking on Vickie! I am glad that she is doing well.

I want everyone to come in October too!

Nancy/Kat, Thank you for thinking of me. I am fine most of the time but do have my moments. Between my Mom and Charles...I am still in shock over Charles passing...it was just too quick. I miss him dearly.

You're never a downer my friend. You've been through a lot recently and what you're dealing with now is not easy by any means. I'm always here for you.

I think the BLT cocktails would be easier for us on the CG night - 10/18, what do y'all think?

after I searched a long time I found a bag of chocolate chips for cookies & ripped that baby right open~

I think eating our way around the world is a must!!!!

Thanks all for the Birthday wishes! It should be a fun weekend. Looks like good waterpark weather in Orlando. Kinda glad we're not park-hopping as it will be in the 90s this weekend. I asked DD how old she thought Mommy was going to be on my bday, and she said "15" I asked her if I could be at least 16 so I could drive. However, in her world 15 is still OLD!

Glad to hear that Vickie is doing well. Still sending her good thoughts and prayers over the pond!

And, I also love hearing about the Oct. meet plans. I mean, you never know....

Okay, time for bed. I did, amazingly, get packed this afternoon, all except stuff i need in the morning. So, we should have smooth sailing tomorrow, fingers crossed!

I sure won't be, I do that all the time. Luckily I had a Hershey bar.

When someone posted the recipe for the truffle pie I wanted to say that you could leave out all but the chocolate and cream and just eat it that way, that way you wouldn't have to wait for it to bake.

I'm sorry the brain has run out. Getting ready for bed, I was going to poor a little glass of wine, knocked the whole bottle on the floor, teensy eensy glass shards everywhere mixed with red wine, what a mess.

The aide is working out nicely. Don't know how long that will last, consider her due date is Aug 22 & the dr said her baby is very big. I'm sad, because I really like this girl. she is straightforward & says what she means.

Those ribs looked delicious. I have pork roast sitting in Criolla marinade, sometime this weekend I think I will slow smoke it.

I posted another singing video of my girl. Hopefully y'all will understand why I boast & so enjoy all my time spent with this child! She is a total pleasure & blessing in my life! Seriously even when she wakes me up like today at 5:45 with lots of kisses, it's a wonderful way to start a day!

Angelina came over for swimming today also, so life is good. I cooked shrimp & chicken fried rice for lunch for the girls. I had hoped I have leftover to go with last night's tuna. Nooo feeding this child once she gets out of the pool, is a non-stop feeding frenzy!

Quick check in...

I want to try and get to the gym before I pick Mom up. Andrew is going by his dad so she will take his bed. It's gonna be a crazy weekend since Andrew has practice tonight and games Sat and Sun...do you believe Sunday starts the playoffs? The poor team only won 2 games so far. How neat would it be to win the playoffs? Not sure if I will be able to stay at the games with Mom but I will stay as long as I can.

Dinner tonight will probably be Chinese and then nt sure about the weekend. I have a chicken, ribs, turkey medallions wrapped in bacon....

Not sure if I will be able to check in...have a great weekend.

I need to help her figure out days and a place to stay too. If she gets the OK from Pa then I will call Southwest to extend my credits!!

I have emergency chips in my freezer all the time. You just never know when you are going to need them

Dinner last night was easy. I had planned on cooking some beautiful sockeye salmon but it was clammy and yucky out so we had rotisserie chicken, baked potatoes and a big salad.

Tonight has to be the salmon but I feel lousy. I woke up at 1 AM with a flaming sore throat and sinus headache, cold stuff. Buddy was going to come home to take Kady to school but I was up and had everything done so I will take her and then come home and get under a blanket.

Today is DH's last day before he is officially retired...I told him the AARP card will be coming soon. Tonight we are going to celebrate and go out to eat or get take-out.

It is not the trip...it is the timing. October is the time we usually plan to take down the crop and strip and pack the leaves. If the weather cooperates. Now I don't do any of this but I do coordinate our help and feed them, and will pick them up and drop them off if necessary. I have been away during this time but Buddy is always stressed.
