5 days left and I'm stranglely relaxed. Then again, once I wake up Saturday morning I will probably be in a packing whirlwind. How am I supposed to get through the work week knowing I'm almost on vacation??

i know how you feel! we've been packing our apartment for our move but our trip is Saturday and we will be gone for two weeks. I am now going to start packing for our trip and need it done by friday since we will start our drive midnight saturday morning!

14 more day until I leave! I'm getting so excited!!

The only thing that's bumming me out is my return flight times have changed. A few months ago they bumped me from the seat I chose and now they have moved my fight time up. I wouldn't mind leaving for Disney earlier, but I liked my flight home just how it was. Lol!!

Here now and it's been a great time! Weather is nice, and so far the crowds have been manageable. Already had some pixie dust too! A sweet CM bonded with my fiancé over football and he gave us a free Jack Skellington cupcake

We are packed and ready to drive up to Denver to stay at a hotel for our AM flight tomorrow. This time tomorrow we'll be there!! Hard to believe all the research, planning and juggling plans around late Disney announcements is finally about to become reality. Only 2 things I was not able to get exactly like I wanted so far is 2 FEA FP+ but we do have them, just not the times we wanted.

Day 1 a success. Started a little rough at DIA with the Frontier line a mile long and only a handful of people working to get people checked in. We went outside and checked our bags curbside instead. Plane left on time. Arrived at MCO 5 minutes early at about 1:20 pm. We made our way to Magical Express and were on our way 30 minutes after we landed. We were in line for checking at POR at 2:50 but our room wasn't ready yet so we went to the food court to grab a quick bite then changed into our bathing suits at the pool bathrooms. We got a text that our room was ready at about 4:00. We got the building and floor we wanted and the room was only a few away from what we requested so we are quite happy with it.

We got into our room, dropped off our carry-ons and headed back to the pool. I got a text that our Garden Grocer order had arrived so I went to bell service desk to pick it up. They said they would deliver it to the room but had to call from the room and be there for delivery. I went back and did the pool and hot tub for a few then went back to the room at 4:45 and called to have the groceries delivered. They were here by 5. All the drinks(Beer, water, Caprisun) were not cold but everything else was. Everyone came back from the pool and changed and we took the boat to DS.

DS was packed. We hit a couple shops, bought some Legos. We arrived at our 6:30 ADR at TREX at 6:20 and were seated at 6:45. We had a Landry's card that didn't seem to have any effect on getting us in sooner but the manager stopped by our table and told us they are working to get Landry's members with or without ADR's streamlined into seats. Once seated it took about an hour for us to finish. Our waitress was real slow getting us what we asked for, like 15 min to get a 2nd beer, asked before our food arrived for mustard and catsup and had to wait 5 min after our food arrived for her to bring it. All in all it was ok. We'd split entrees next time for sure.

We hit a couple more shops on the way out and were back on the boat at 8:30. We stopped by to see YeeHaw Bob, it was fun and funny but packed and nowhere to sit so we watched for a few then we filled our refillable cups and went back to the room. Our luggage was there waiting for us so we unpacked and organized every thing. Now it's time for bed and an AM EMH at Epcot tomorrow.

Day 2 Epcot AM EMH

Talk about a stressful day so far. Got to bus stop at POR at 6:50. Watched multiple empty buses for MK,AK and DHS come and go. Finally got on our bus at 7:25 and to the park at 7:45. Bag check line was insane as every other bus seemed to get there at the same time but they opened more lines and we were in the park at 8:05. We headed for TT, we got in fairly quick but a couple of break downs just as we got in the car and a longer break down as they were checking our seat belts and another during the ride for a couple minutes put us and my plan way behind schedule. We got out at 8:45 and headed for Soarin. Got in line at 9:00 and were out at 9:25, everyone loved it even with all the distortion. Had to skip The Land. We went to see Joy and Sadness which was scheduled to be in line before 9 but by that time the line was too long so skipped that for now too. We did get Baymax with about a 15 minute wait then to MS for our first FP+ but it was a walk-on for Green. Hit the Festival center real quick, hit club cool, got some photo pass pictures near the fountain and got in line at Farm Fresh and Hawaii to start our F&W tour. All in all the food was good and the lines moved quickly. We toured up to Morocco and hopped on the boat back to Canada to get to our 12:50 FP+ for Character Spot. We were a little early so grabbed a couple mickey bars for the boys and watched the end of Mobile Muppet show. Got in the FP+ line for Character spot at 12:50 and it was out the door and moving very slow. The bus back to POR was slow getting there and had to sit through a driver change. Got back to our room at 2 and now cooling off before we head back for TT Single Rider, FEA FP+, ADR at La Hacienda and Illuminations. Epcot is packed today. We did one Agent P in UK but it took too long for us to do France so we'll have to do that one next week if we can.

Here now and betting most of you have seen that the dinosaur refurb is going longer than expected. Our FP+ got cancelled. Yesterday was insane at Epcot. Some CMs we talked to said it was weekend crowded level. dAK wasn't that bad but crowds sure did pick up in the afternoon and it was hot! With all that we've been riding the rides we want to for the most part and going at the kids' pace.

For Thursday Oct 13. Our night session went a bit better but had still had some hiccups. Left our room at 4:00, bus showed up soon after we got to the stop, no bag line so that all went well. We started at TT Single Rider. Board said 45 minutes for SR line, we went inside and the line was slightly less than it was when it said 20 min so we got in line, we were in and out in 30 min. My boys wanted to ride again so we got in SR line again since it was much shorter now and were out in 18 min. This was about 5 PM. After that we headed to WS, stopped by craft beer and got a flight, Mexico for a taco and Jalapeno Marg. Plan was to ride 3 Caballeros but the line was out of the queue so we skipped that and headed for our 6:35 Frozen FP+, It was down. CM said no idea when it would be back up and there was a nice lady who offered us her 4 Epcot anytime between now and Oct 31 FP+ so we took them not knowing what we'd do with them. We have another day planned so will look at what to do with them, probably for TT so we can all ride together again. We went and met Mexico Donald then tried 3 Cabs again and it was now virtually a walk on. Now it's just after 7 so we head back to Norway to check Frozen and it was back up. We rode and were out and made it to our 7:45 La Hacienda ADR right on time. Had a good meal there and watched Illuminations from there. The view was excellent and we had a good time. Buses going back to POR on the other hand was not fun. Seemed like all of POR was at Epcot and the line over flowed the queue and seemed to go forever. At first there was 1 bus in 20 min but after that they kept coming and finally made it back. Time for bed and an early AM EMH at MK. That will be our last AM EMH this trip.

Heading out this afternoon. I looked all day yesterday and this morning to find a room for tonight and the values and moderates are booked solid. I guess that means it is going to be crowded. I'm going to check all day today.
We originally planned to arrive in the morning but we are leaving early. I'll sleep in a cardboard box in the parking lot of Hollywood studios. I don't care. Lol jk

Well, we had a rough end to our vacation but everyone has been so wonderful. My DD caught a fever and had a febrile seizure last night A manager from the resort came to check on us while the ambulance was in route. We didn't get home from the ER until almost 2am. This morning the front desk called to check on her and offered us a late check out and said they will reimburse us for the taxi ride back to the hotel. They are also helping us getting her prescription filled! LOVE how accommodating and caring Disney is! DD is doing fine. She's sleepy and eating normally. Just have to keep up with her baby Motrin every 6 hours. Overall we had a fantastic experience, even with the little scare. Disney goes above and beyond.

Thank you! Disney definitely took great care of us. The ER doctor gave us a prescription and POFQ delivered it right to our room!

Did the CM say if they thought crowds were bigger because of school fall breaks and Columbus holiday ?

Didn't say but guessing that's why. We've found early is great and then it gets crazy crowded. Well for us anyway.
