Great updates, especially the ones where you had my kids! How many more pics of jack sticking out his tongue did you get?? he's silly! I loved loved loved being able to meet Beka and the boys! Now that I have finally uploaded our PP pics, I thought I'd catch up to where I am in with my TR in posting PP Pics.

Here we are on day 1 at MK. Sometimes I hate PP pics....makes me see how BADLY I need to diet. lol

This one happened on Day 1 when Bob and the kids went hunting for their first whatever-it-is that you look for when you play the sorcerer Mickey game.

We hooked up here and decided that we were gonna use the crap out of Jenn's PP+ starting at Day 1!

So here we are, ready to go to lunch. My absolute favorite place for lunch at DAK is most definitely Flame Tree BBQ. OMG, I love that place.

Kayla was in charge of finding a table and Joe and I took care of placing our orders. Kayla got the most amazing fruit salad. I got the pulled pork because I always do and for some reason, I cannot remember what Joe or Jack got.

Once we were seated I got my text from Amanda telling me that she was there. Yay, I couldn’t wait to see her again and to meet Brodie, her son. Let me tell you about that little guy. He is sooooooo cute. I mean, he is uber cute…as in too cute for his own good.

Amanda and Brodie came to DAK with her friend Alicia and Alicia’s son, Rhys. I let them know that we were at FTBBQ so we agreed to meet right out in front

By the time we finished our meal, Amanda, Brodie, Alicia and Rhys were outside FTBBQ. Rhys was so excited to meet Jack. They got along famously! Woot! Kayla and I ooh’d and ahh’d over baby Brodie for a bit before we decided that we wanted to see FOTLK. Alicia had not seen it before and I don’t recall if Rhys had seen it either. We started making our way over to Camp Minnie Mickey and we see that Pocahontas is going to be out shortly. Since we could not enter the theater yet, we stood in line to meet her and that also gave us some time to chat and chat.

During that time, one of the street musicians (or whatever this dude was…lol) came by to do a show where he would sing random songs about random topics that people requested and Kayla asked him to sing a song about her dog, Riley. It was very cute. She recorded it on her phone and sent it to Jenn. Hee hee. Rhys also asked him to do a song as well.

While we were standing in line, we started chatting with the PP Photographer while we were chasing Brodie around. That little guy was busy! He had himself a good old time. OMG, PP photographer was in love with little Brode man. And let me tell you, I could definitely see why. That little dude is amazing. I just want to squeeze him. Squiiissshhhhh……….

Here are some pictures of our meeting with Pocahontas as well as other random shots of the Brodie. Kayla and Jack were not in a picture taking mood.

Pocahontas was super sweet. This was my first time meeting her and we all enjoyed our time with her.

It was finally time to head in to get seated for FOTLK. As some of you know, Joe is disabled and today was proving to be a challenging day for him on the pain scale. He had forgotten to give me a pain pill to take with us and he wasn’t into climbing up the bleachers so he asked to be seated in the handicap section (he has a GAC). We have never sat in these seats before and boy, what a difference.

The boys were selected to be Lions, which was super cute. They did an awesome ROAR!!! They had a blast being a part of the show.

I was seated next to Alicia and she had never seen FOTLK before so watching her face was priceless during the performance.

Kayla also got to be in the parade at the end of the show, which was awesome. I love FOTLK and OMG, it was amazing that day!!!

We decided to then grab seats for Jammin Jungle.

We went to my favorite spot and Alicia and I stayed with the boys while Amanda and Kayla went pin trading. Jack and Rhys were deep in conversation and Alicia and I were chatting while spending time with Brodie. We noticed that he was started to get sort of warm, but didn’t really know why. He is such a good baby and he wasn’t fussy or showing us any signs that he might not be feeling well. We later learned that the poor little dude was getting a double ear infection. Awww…..

Amanda and Kayla returned in time for the parade. I must admit, I love, love, love Jammin Jungle. I had missed it for many years and now, that is no longer an option. It is a must see for me. I have the music loaded in my juke box in my car. The car has a hard drive for music which is awesome because I can listen to the Jammin Jungle music whenever I want to!!

Here are a few pictures from the parade. Amanda got special attention from one of the characters during the parade. Wink, wink…..nice to have friends in the jungle, aye?

I cannot tell you how much we enjoyed spending time with Amanda, Brodie, Alicia and Rhys. We were excited that Amanda and Brodie were due to come back and meet us a few days later. Unfortunately, little Brode man got sick and they never did get to come back and see Jenn and meet Bob. I was very bummed about that but happy that we were able to spend some time together this trip.

The park was closing so we said our good-bye’s, again, thinking we’d see Amanda and Brodie a couple of days later.

I decided that dinner tonight was going to be at AoA.

We originally were staying at AoA but at the last minute I changed my mind but thought….wait, I can go over and see the resort one evening and have dinner in their food court.

Smashing idea. Woot!

I must say that it was so strange eating at a food court with “real” silverware and “breakable” plates. LOL. We all enjoyed our meals there and actually, I have to say that I’d definitely go back there again for a meal.

After dinner, we walked the resort and took tons of pictures. OMG, I love the Cars section of the resort. Very cool!!! Here are some of our pictures.

We decided that we were going to surprise the kids by going to Quest that evening. Our packages contained a voucher for 2 people and so did Jenn’s so we used her voucher for the kids and our voucher for us and went to Quest. This was a first for me.

We did the Aladdin thing, the Jungle Cruise thing and a whole bunch of other games. It was actually a lot of fun. Kayla and I drew Goofy at the character drawing, which was a lot of fun. For some reason, it was really hot inside Quest but we stayed and did everything that the kids wanted to do.

Kayla and Jack were on a pin mission so when we left Quest, we made a short stop at DTD to check out pins. They both still had loot left on their gift cards and were on a mission to find certain pins. I wish I could remember what they were in search of exactly!!!

After DTD we headed back to our resort. We were all pretty tired and decided that it was jammy time and time to relax for the rest of the night. Our first full day with the kids was a hit! We really enjoyed being able to spend some time with them. I think they had a good time with us too.

So here we are, the start of a new day.

I couldn’t believe how fast this vacation was going!!! It was our 2nd full day with the kids and we had an early ADR that morning for breakfast at Kona….my favorite!!!

We drove over to the Poly. I really love this resort. I don't know if we'd ever be able to budget to stay there, but I really do enjoy visiting the resort every trip we make to Disney.

We arrived at Kona on time and checked in.

I was impressed with myself actually because I’ve never had to get 2 kids up, dressed and out the door on a Disney vacation. LOL!!

Our meals at Kona were awesome, as usual. Kona never, ever disappoints for breakfast.

My plan for our 2nd day with the kids was Magic Kingdom. Woot! We took the monorail over after breakfast.

The kids had started that dang sorcerer card game and were itching to get back to it. We went to the Fire Station and collected our cards for the day and started some of the missions (or whatever they are called). They had a good time and I think Joe did to!

Our first attraction for the day was Buzz. We walked over rather slowly actually. No racing there today, which was nice.

I rode with Kayla and she beat me. We had a fun time riding together and trying to hit our targets.

Next stop was COP. Yep, I dragged them into COP. I could almost see everyone rolling their eyes at me, including Joe. There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow…… I enjoyed myself...totally!!!

Next up…..TTA, aka the nappy ride. Hee hee. I love the TTA. It’s so nice to just take in the sights sometimes, isn’t? A couple of pics from our ride on the TTA.

Joe and the kids rode Space next while I shopped. I was impressed that Joe rode it considering he declared a few years back “never again” after he lost his Breitling on the dang ride.

As we were walking to our next destination, we ran into the talking trash can.

I'm so glad we saw FOLK with you all. I took friends to it the other week who had never seen it either and I love the looks on their faces! Brodie is mesmerized by it.

JJP is always such a fun parade. I'm glad I got some Kayla time. She's so smart and funny and sweet. Jenn is a lucky mama for having 2 (soon to be 3, woohoo) awesome kids.

Next up, Monster's Inc Laugh Floor. There are times when we go in there and it is high-larious....this was one of those days. I so want Joe to get picked to be "that guy" sometime. He'd be a blast.

I couldn't wait for this next attraction.....a ride on the honey pots. Woo hoo, I love the Pooh ride. I especially like the new queue. It’s so dang cute. Did I take pictures of it? Of course not. What the heck?????? I did take pictures of the walk from Monster's to Pooh though. LOL

We did get detoured though. Wanna guess how/why? Yessire ... the sorcerer cards!

Kayla was on a mission to get “puffs”….you know, those round plush characters? We stopped in the Pooh shop and I believe she got one with one of her gift cards there. They really are cute.

After puff shopping, we headed over to Peter Pan. Took more pics on the way there, but again, nada when we got there. I like taking random shots. For years I took the same pictures over and over again so over the last couple of years I have looked for different angles, etc.

Yeah, that ride kills me. I have no flipping clue why the dang queue is sooooo loooonnnng. Here we go……………………

Joe and I have a must do, which is lunch at LTT. I scheduled lunch for this day since the kids had not had a meal there yet. I took this pics on the walk over to LTT.....

We checked in and found a seat. The wait wasn't long at all. Since the kids had not done lunch here before, I was curious to see if they would like it.

WOW, that’s all I can say. The food was awesome….especially the Ooey Gooey that we had for dessert! Yummy!!!!!

After our delish-i-oh-so meal, we headed over to it's a small world. Geez, why do I love that ride so much?

I am Greek so I attempt every trip to get a picture of this guy....

Next up HM. However, we first did a bit of backtracking. Can you guess why? Right you are!!!

They were very patient while waiting their turn.

So we got to HM and OMG, the line was incredible....as in, OMG-we-are-NOT-waiting-in-this-line long. We decided we'd walk over to BTMRR, my personal favorite. Guess what? It was CLOSED. Boooooooo..........

We decided to go back to HM to see what the line looked like. Yay, it wasn't bad at all.

After we got sufficiently spooked, we decided to become pirates....yo ho, yo ho, it's off to POTC we go. No pics here, it was a walk on.

We then decided to take a ride on the carpets. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed this ride until recently.

Next, we took on the Jungle Cruise. Woot!!! I never seem to get enough of this cheesey attraction.

We wondered over to the Tiki Room after we got finished with our cruise through the jungle.

We decided to try Columbia Harbour House for dinner that evening. I had never been there before and neither had Joe. I don't have pics but from what I recall, we had a great meal. I had a salad, Joe had the lobster roll. I don't remember what the kids had.

We were getting pretty tired after dinner. I wanted to do some laundry so we decided to start heading out.

As we were making our way to the front of the park, we got a little distracted. Hmmm, I bet I know what you're thinking? Nope, not the sorcerer cards this time. It was PARTY time!!!

Someone was getting a little tired.....

After the party ended, we made our way down Main Street and headed back to our resort.

Once we were back at our resort, I headed out to do laundry while Joe took the kids up to the arcade for a bit. By the time the laundry was finished, they were walking back and were able to stop and help me carry everything back to our room.

The kids showered and got ready for bed while I put things away.

All in all, a very successful day 2 with my little friends. It was a blast having them for those two days and two nights and seeing the parks through their eyes. Very different experience for us.
