The Most Wonderful Thing About Tiggers happened to us!

Next I wanted to see Beauty and the Beast. Everyone was kind enough to humor me and go with me. I love this show. I will never, ever get sick of it and I think I cry a little every time I see it. I remember in the days of 35mm cameras that I would take an entire roll of film during this show. Thank goodness for digital cameras.

We were meeting Beka and her family for lunch today at 50’s Prime Time. I was happy to get to see her and the kids today and to meet her husband. We were pretty spread out at the table and didn’t get to spend too much time talking. I was bummed about that.

Joe and I enjoyed our meal there. We had not been there in a while and were happy that we decided to go back. I’ve still not tried the fried chicken, but I hear it is good.

After lunch we all went over to TSMM.

My notes say that we rode 3x. I told you we were obsessed with it this trip. LOL. It always figures that I get the cart where the gun doesn’t work. Once I ended up with zero points.

Next up was GMR. Joe happens to love this but I me…meh….I can take it or leave it. I recall that the wait was pretty long.

We were all going to go to F! together but Beka and her family decided to call it a night. In fact, I think just Jenn, Joe and I went to F!. If I remember correctly, Bob took the kids back to their resort and Jenn stayed with us.

It started to pour and I was wondering if the show would go on that night or not. The three of us had a great time though and in the end were glad that we stayed.

After F!, Joe, Jenn and I went shopping for a bit before we dropped Jenn off and headed back to our resort.

We liked the food at 50s. I love how Kyle is wearing a t-shirt and I was in my jacket. I freeze much of the time! In fact, the weather here in KY has been cool enough that I'm chilled around sunset!

I really miss hitting up the parks on my days off!!!

I think we may go back this trip to 50s. Not sure yet, but we do like it there. The weather was interesting...some days I was in shorts and a tshirt and other days a hoodie.

I think I'd miss it too! Hoping some day that we will all be there at the same time again!

Today was our last full day at Disney. I always feel craptastic about that time…thinking of having to go back home to reality.

We awoke early for our breakfast ADR with Jenn and her family. We went to Kouzzina, which is a must do for Joe and I.

I love, love, love their breakfast. It’s the bomb-diggity. I had the waffle which is ah-mah-zing.

Our plans after breakfast were to go to Epcot, but we knew that we were going to do multiple parks that day so we made the decision to part at the TTC and take the monorail over to Epcot.

We got in our cars and headed over to the TTC to park.

I love seeing this sign, even if we were just headed to the TTC.

I really, really enjoy the ride from the TTC to Epoct on the monorail. It is so relaxing.

Once we arrived at Epcot, we headed over for a ride in the clamshells to see if we could find Nemo.

It was a walk on, which was awesome since we also wanted to see Turtle Talk with Crush. Loved Nemo. Cute ride.

We then went to wait in line for Turtle Talk with Crush.

We were second in line and the family in front of us had just arrived….from about 10 miles away from where Joe and I live. We spent some time chatting about the weather back home as there was a pretty brutal snow storm going on. You know, it’s a small world after all.

Turtle Talk with Crush was awesome. I’ve seen it a few times but never when it was this interactive. We thoroughly enjoyed the show.

We spent a little time at the teeny tiny shop, or kiosk, before continuing over to The Land to ride Soarin again.

We walked right on to Soarin. I think my favorite part of the ride has to be the smell of the orange groves and of course, Disneyland at the end.

Next up, Journey Into Imagination.

Next up we headed over to Innoventions, but I can’t remember what the heck we did in there.

We then made our way over to WS. We started in Canada. We didn’t see O Canada this year. I wish they’d expand the offerings in the Canadian pavilion.

Next, we went to the UK.

We did a little looking around in all of the shops and then decided to fish and chips to snack on.

Yummy, yummy, yummy. I really enjoy the shops of the UK and could spend hours just looking at tea.

I, of course, had to have a Grey Goose slushie. So off I went to Paris.

No way was I leaving the joint without one. It was delish!!! I forgot to see if I could get it in a regular glass so as usual, I spilled a bit. Joe got one too. Jenn and Bob also indulged with us.

Man, I’d love to have one right about now.

We were in a snacking mood and Joe and I had CS meals left, so we went to Morocco and got three different meals for all of us to share. I loved the food there. I only remember eating there once a long time ago. The food was so good.

We ate under a lemon tree…gee, wonder how a lemon made it home with me?

Ugh, what I would do to have this exact view right now!

After filling our bellies again, we moved on over to Japan. We all love that shop. We spent a lot of time there this trip. Had a great time in the store and did the pick a pearl.

We also stopped to see Miyuko (I think that is her name)

I took a couple of pictures as we walked to our next stop. We passed by the American Adventure but didn't go in since the next show wasn't happening for a while. Also stopped for a bit in Germany too.

Next stop was China. We didn't stay long though.

We rode Maelstrom next.

We didn't see the movie this time but we did browse the shop.

Norway was our next snack…yep, did a lot of snackin’ this trip.

We got school bread and an almond pretzel to share. People either love school bread or they hate it. I love it!!

After Norway, we went and met Donald in Mexico.

I remember Kayla was hungry so Bob took her to get nachos (I think) and the rest of us went to get our groove on with Donald.

We had a swell time with Donald. We had great character interaction. I can't seem to find my pics!!

We decided that it was time to head over to MK. I took these on our way out.

Better move your butt birdie....not a great place to be.

Now, where did I leave off?

Oh yeah, we hopped on the monorail for our trip back.

Once we got there, Jenn wanted to get Jack’s haircut.

The wait wasn’t too long. I took a couple of pictures while we waited.

The lady on the right wins the award for most interesting outfit of the day. I wish I could do stuff like that but I am just not that confident.

There was a very interesting couple getting their hair done right before Jack. The whole family, in fact. The lady had super, duper long hair and only wanted a smidge cut off the bottom. She needed about a foot and a half cut off actually.

When it was Jack's turn, Jenn went in with him and explained what they wanted to have done.

Jack looked so stinkin’ cute with his new do! Apparently, they don’t make the colored hair gel anymore. Jack was super bummed about that. They did have glitter though which looked so cute in his hair.

Guess what we did next? Sorcerer cards! We all got them and the kids went through them to see what they had duplicates of. I took a few pics while I waited for everyone to sort through their cards.

We went over to see if the Big Cheese was available and how long the line was.

Seems that I didn't take pics while we were meeting Mickey!! Really? I can't believe it! I will post all of our PP pics at the end of my TR though.

We stopped to listen to these guys before moving on.

Time to lower the flag.

Next, off to Tomorrowland

We decided to check out Buzz first. This wasn’t my year for Buzz. I didn’t max out once this trip. It was a lot of fun though…always is.

I wanted to top here but we didn't.....

Jack and Bob were waiting for us slow pokes so that we could ride Buzz together.

Strategy meeting!!!

After Buzz we took a little walk over to the New Fantasyland.

These guys looked like they were having fun.

I seem to stop every few feet and take pictures...drives Joe nuts!

Joe and I had seen Enchanted Tales with Belle earlier, but Jenn’s family had not seen it yet. I was so excited that we were going to get to experience that with them. The line was pretty long, but so worth the wait. I had tried to get a picture of the picture of Belle and her mother inside the queue the first time we were there but was not successful. That was my mission this time too.

Once we got inside, I was hoping that Kayla and Jack would get chosen to participate in the show. Jack and Bob were selected and at the end Kayla got to participate too. It’s a great attraction and a wonderful experience with Belle. One thing that would make it perfect would be if Beast showed up, but I guess that’s not possible since he is greeting guests at Be Our Guest. *wink wink*

Jack wanted to ride Space again so Jenn, Bob, Jack and Kayla went over to Space while Joe and I went to ride Buzz again. We also took a ride on the TTA too.

I had a must do list for this trip and really wanted to meet Tink and the fairies. It was our last night and I still hadn’t met them so Joe, Jenn, Kayla and I went over to meet them. I am so glad that we did. Tink and her sister were a hoot! I really am glad that we did that and look forward to seeing them again next trip. I will post the PP pics from meeting the Faries at the end of my TR.

Well, I took a late lunch today and it is time to get back to work.....

Hi

I was hoping some of my readers would still be with me, but I shall continue on as we are near the end..............

We had an ADR that night for CP but since we had time left, we went to meet Tiana and Prince Naveen. She is so beautiful. She spent quite a bit of time with us, which was nice. (Pictures coming when I post PP shortly).

So, we had an ADR at CP and knew that we’d miss Wishes, but what we didn’t know was that we were about to have the best experience of our trip.

We were seated in a great spot, near a window. All of us were pretty darn tired and hungry. We took turns going up to the buffet and waited for the characters to come by.

I amused myself taking a picture until we met our first character.

First was Eeyore

Then Piglet:

Then Tigger....and this is when when the magic happened....The reason for the title of my TR.

Tigger was amazing. First, he came by and did the usual greeting with us.

Well, apparently we looked like a fun bunch and he decided to sit down with us and proceeded to feed Jenn. Yep, feed her. It was hilarious! I was so busy laughing that I didn't take pictures. Ugh, I wish I had! Joe took video of our encounter with Tigger though. Yay for that!

Tigger had to take a little break, but decided that he needed to come see us AGAIN. This time, he took a seat.......and asked Joe to show him the video that he took! He wanted to relive his last visit with us…you know, from 5 minutes ago.

Joe showed him the video and then he promptly decides that Jenn need to be his bride…so he LEFT with her.

We were howling with laughter by this time.

Once he brought Jenn back to Bob, we were getting ready to head out because we all had to pack and get ready for our long drive home. We talked to Tigger a bit about the cold weather that we were all going back too. Apparently, that was when he decided that we were not going anywhere. He didn’t want us to leave and go back to cold Ohio and PA.

We finally convinced him that we REALLY did need to start heading out so he walked us to the door...as if we were the only ones in CP.

During our interaction with Tigger, there was a little boy who joined our fun from his table. Tigger thought that he belonged to us. When we left CP, Tigger stood at the door waiving frantically at us. He was bouncing like mad!!!

We were waiving back to him too, but then realized….he thought we LEFT A CHILD! LOL!!!! We tried to convince him that nope, we had our two (Jack and Kayla). Too cute! Now mind you, it was late and there were not too many people still in CP, but it was like we were the ONLY ones in CP according to Tigger. The most wonderful thing about Tiggers, is we were the only ones that night!!! What an incredible way to end our trip. I am forever grateful to Tigger for this awesome experience. It’s not usual that you get that kind of character interaction.

It made our trip!

After leaving CP that night, we headed back to our resorts to start packing. Joe and I were originally thinking that we would go to a park in the morning after breakfast and then head out for our long drive home to Ohio.

We got up the next morning and met Jenn at Kona for breakfast. I can't believe it, but I didn't take any pictures!!!

I got the macadamia nut pancakes again, of course. My plan was to eat half and then take the rest home to enjoy the next day. Yep, that is exactly what I did and so glad that I did! They were awesome the next morning.

Joe and I decided that morning that we were going to go to DTD and EOS instead of a park and then head home. We had heard that there was a bad storm up our way so we figured we should get on the road. Dang, that was depressing.

We arrived at DTD and stopped at EOS to use the rest of our credits. We figured it would be nice to have EOS for the ride home. I think we had 3 CS meals left so that meant lots of food for the road!!

After EOS, we went to The Pantry and did some shopping and then to WoD for some final little things. My goal was to be on the road by 10:30 a.m. We pulled into Hess to gas up at 10:15 so we were making good time.

We said good bye to WDW. This was our first trip driving so we were not in a rush to get to the airport and took our time leaving.

As we began our journey home, Joe decided that he wanted to drive straight through…well, aside from the ticket we got in Pooler, Georgia. Let me tell you a little about this ticket. The patrolman told us to call the Police Station to find out how much the ticket would be if we didn't want to come back in April to go to court. Long story short, never, ever get a ticket in Pooler....nuff said.

We talked about stopping at South of the Border but decided against it since we heard that there was a snow storm up north.

We stopped for gas three times during the trip home, which wasn’t bad. I expected to stop more frequently and was happy that we only happened to stop three times.

Joe was getting sicker as we drove and I started to get concerned. We were considering trying to find a room, but Joe decided to keep driving. At one point he started talking nonsense and I knew he had a fever. I was really starting to worry then.

All in all, it took us 15 hours to get home…..and 15 seconds for me to start missing Disney and wanting to plan our next trip.

Final Thoughts

I have just a few final thoughts on our trip:

Jenn’s wedding was amazing. I’m so glad that we were able to be there.

I LOVED my 2 nights with Jack and Kayla. It was awesome to see Disney through their eyes. I really enjoyed our time with them.

I've decided that I'm not a real fan of the Sorcerer Mickey game.

The off property hotel we stayed in our first night had AMAZING beds!

Fantasmic in the rain sucks!

Looking back now, the drive really wasn’t as bad as I thought. I am use to a short 2.5 hour flight and I wasn’t sure how I’d do making that drive. That said, we're driving again....in a little over 4 months!

Bob and kids loved that dang game! I have enlisted Amanda to collect cards for us for future trips!

That dinner STUNK until Tigger made it all better! I was so done by that last night though, i don't think i enjoyed it as much as I could of! I regret that for myself. Luckily I think the kids and Bob LOVED it!

The drive was pretty intense once we got into the snow covered mountains. It seems that he had food poisoning. It was actually pretty awful for him.

The ticket wasn't so much fun. LOL.

Ahh, double fisted drinking! In truth though, you didn't actually drink both of them.

The kids will have a blast with all the cards that Amanda collects for them. Hee hee.
