We still have an excessive heat warning in effect here. It was 110ish all weekend, and we had rain.

Humidity isnt bad, except when it rains.

Im thinking of changing my dogs name to a names to So Kin Wet and Joaquin Indurain

Record high yesterday was officially 112, unofficially on my back porch it reached 119. Currently 116 on my back porch. The drought is keeping the humidity down, but not stopping the heat from smacking you in the face when you open the door. I'm pretty sure we will FINALLY drop into the 90s at the end of the week. I'm very excited.

So Kin Wet, or the dog formally known as Aspen is a Husky Mix, about 2.5 to 3 years old. He was a runaway I believe. I think he was abused. Got him from a vet after he was hit by a car, and had minor injuries

Joaquin Indurain or the dog formally known as Kahlua, is a pointer mix about 2 to 2.5 years old. We got him because Aspen suffered greatly from separation anxiety. Aspen picked Kahlua at the rescue.

These are my boys. I cant imagine not having them around. I keep misters going and a kids wading pool in the backyard so they dont over heat. We also have a lot of shade (where the misters are)

Those dogs are CUTE!!! We really should have misters for our dogs, but they are currently sleeping in the a/c, so I doubt they are very worried right now.

The dogs are beautiful! My cousin has a dog named Kahlua, but it's a black chihuahua.

Their nick names are Big Boy and Baby Boy, based on their age. Funny thing is, Kahlua is about 15 pound heavier then Aspen.

The names make dog dooty sound almost pleasant. Almost.

My dogs are glad to be hairless this summer with the heat. Although I have to put SPF50 on Paris Hairless Hilton because she loves to go out the doggie door and sun on the patio. Andy still won't go outside unescorted since the dog attack. I did convince him to ride around the block in Elvin with me just to get him outside for a minute but he was very stressed and I made it a short ride.

And I'm Bossy Dwarf. After all, I am making the rest of them wear those shirts....

And one of my daughters in law will be 5 months pregnant when we go. I thought about changing her to Naughty but Moody fits her even when she's not pregnant.

My mil would refer to fertility in some way, I'm sure. She owns her own embroidery business. One mother's day, she made me a shower wrap and put Big Mama (my little nickname) on it. However, the B was on it's side because that's my profile laying down while pregnant. She found herself pretty funny.
