I'm a scratch golfer myself. We have a lot of mosquitoes here in Wisconsin, and occasionally they will bite you while golfing. I then scratch the spot where I was bit.
Oh, that's what they mean by scratch golfer.
If that's the case, then I'm a scratch player as well. If not I'm about a 30+
I always knew that Wisconsinites were a tad gullible.Every Christmas Eve, after the evening milking, my dad would always want to take us kids into town (population: ~900) to look at everyone's Christmas lights. And every year, while we were gone, Santa would come and deliver presents. I can't believe we just missed him for like 27 years in a row! Although, then on Christmas morning we could just get up and head to the barn for chores, rather than having to sit around and open presents.
You would get along very well with my 3 year old. I'm actually sort of in the same boat (pun intended). I get just as excited as he does when we hear a train rolling by.
There is a really cool Maritime Museum up in Manitowoc, Wi. They have a WWII submarine there, and they allow groups to sleep in it overnight.
You should come down to Chicago at the end of August. They have the Tall Ships coming Aug 24 - 29. Evan would love it.
