I have some more random babblings about my trip. I know how much you all enjoy those!
I was talking to Mom yesterday morning through Facebook. We were talking about our park tickets and how much they would cost, etc. I told her how excited I was for the trip and that I couldn't wait for it to get here. She said, "Me too." I asked her if she really meant that because sometime she doesn't seem that excited. She said, "I'm really excited, I just can't be too excited and show you father how excited I really am to go on vacation without him."
I thought that was super cute of her. Not that my Dad really care, he's probably relieved that he won't have to go to Disney anytime soon.
I found a Hidden Mickey in my new apartment.
I think this show how deep my Disney obsession really is.
I dug out my suitcase that is filled with Disney stuff in anticipation of my trip. I have just been throwing stuff in there so I booked it. It's a mess.
I don't think I am going to bring all of it, like I only need one poncho since Marc isn't coming, though maybe I should give my mom the other one just in case.
I've been buying books like crazy lately. I think I have been in panic mode since I haven't gotten a library card in the new town we are living in yet, so I have been buying every book in sight.
I think I am going to try to save these three for the trip. Or at least two of them.
Currently I am reading some Philippa Gregory books. I just finished reading two by Alison Weir around this same time period and they were so good. I'm really into the Historical Fiction right now.
Yesterday in the mail I received a surprise from SmugMug. A couple of weeks ago I signed up for a free camera strap, I even gave them my new address since it said it could take months. Well it came yesterday and I was so happy! I put it on my camera before I took a picture of it so it's not the best picture.
It's so comfy on my neck. It's much thicker and more padded then the one that came with my camera. It also can be let out longer than my other one. I am very happy it with, I think it's awesome quality for being free!
I've been having a really hard time finding cloths to clean my glasses with, which I use for my camera lenses too. I found some this weekend! Yay! A $1.50 for three! They work really well too. I'm going to put one in a small snack size ziplock bag for my park bag.
Last trip, I used this as my organizer for my laminated itineraries, room cards, wallet etc.
It worked well, but it was a little bulky. I have my Tink wallet for my money, room keys and such. I wanted a little organizer for receipts and other paper things that I want to keep.
I picked this up at the One Spot at Target.
It has labels even if I want to get that fancy. I really want to be better about keeping all of my receipts so I can keep track of exactly how much I spend on everything. I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible so it will be easier to convince Marc of future trips on a budget.
It weighs next to nothing and doesn't take up a lot of space.
I found this in my suitcase and I think it will work well if I go for a swim when I'm solo.
I hate leaving my room card and such just hanging around the pool. We used these on the cruise to Bermuda. It worked well because it just clipped to my bathing suit strap. It's waterproof so I don't have to worry about anything getting ruined.
I think that is all of my rambling for now.
I do have some pictures of the kitties in the new apartment to share with you!
