Sorry I haven't posted in awhile.

I'm so glad your mom gets to go with you.

Your new apartment is so pretty! I'm glad you like it there and have more room. The views from your balcony are nice.

I highly doubt it's a record, but thanks! :lmao:

Hey! I love the views from our balcony. I also love that my desk now faces so I can look outside. It's very nice. :lovestruc

I have two updates for you all today. The first one I should have done last week and I can't believe that I forgot.

I promised you all months ago that once we got down to 48 days left, that I would post a picture a day from my big countdown calendar! D'oh! So now we are at Day 40, so I have some pictures for you!

When I made this countdown calendar, I picked the pictures that just made me feel warm and fuzzy from our Disney trip, no matter how silly the picture. :goodvibes

Day 48. Gus Gus & Jaq at Cinderella's Royal Table.

Day 47. Romantical Moment at the Polynesian Resort.

    Day 46. Mickey in Fantasmic.

Day 45. Marc on the Streets of America.

Day 44. The Light Fixture that started it all at Club Cool
    [IMG]

Day 43. Me at Muppets 3D.

Day 42. Marc in his Fez.

Day 41. Liberty Tree Tavern Light Fixture.

    Day 40. The Glorious Castle.

Now we are all caught up, starting tomorrow I will post a picture a day. :thumbsup2

I have some more random babblings about my trip. I know how much you all enjoy those!

I was talking to Mom yesterday morning through Facebook. We were talking about our park tickets and how much they would cost, etc. I told her how excited I was for the trip and that I couldn't wait for it to get here. She said, "Me too." I asked her if she really meant that because sometime she doesn't seem that excited. She said, "I'm really excited, I just can't be too excited and show you father how excited I really am to go on vacation without him." :lmao: I thought that was super cute of her. Not that my Dad really care, he's probably relieved that he won't have to go to Disney anytime soon.

I found a Hidden Mickey in my new apartment.

I think this show how deep my Disney obsession really is.

I dug out my suitcase that is filled with Disney stuff in anticipation of my trip. I have just been throwing stuff in there so I booked it. It's a mess.

I don't think I am going to bring all of it, like I only need one poncho since Marc isn't coming, though maybe I should give my mom the other one just in case.

I've been buying books like crazy lately. I think I have been in panic mode since I haven't gotten a library card in the new town we are living in yet, so I have been buying every book in sight. :rotfl2:

I think I am going to try to save these three for the trip. Or at least two of them.

Currently I am reading some Philippa Gregory books. I just finished reading two by Alison Weir around this same time period and they were so good. I'm really into the Historical Fiction right now.

Yesterday in the mail I received a surprise from SmugMug. A couple of weeks ago I signed up for a free camera strap, I even gave them my new address since it said it could take months. Well it came yesterday and I was so happy! I put it on my camera before I took a picture of it so it's not the best picture.

It's so comfy on my neck. It's much thicker and more padded then the one that came with my camera. It also can be let out longer than my other one. I am very happy it with, I think it's awesome quality for being free! :thumbsup2

I've been having a really hard time finding cloths to clean my glasses with, which I use for my camera lenses too. I found some this weekend! Yay! A $1.50 for three! They work really well too. I'm going to put one in a small snack size ziplock bag for my park bag.

Last trip, I used this as my organizer for my laminated itineraries, room cards, wallet etc.

It worked well, but it was a little bulky. I have my Tink wallet for my money, room keys and such. I wanted a little organizer for receipts and other paper things that I want to keep.

I picked this up at the One Spot at Target.

It has labels even if I want to get that fancy. I really want to be better about keeping all of my receipts so I can keep track of exactly how much I spend on everything. I'm trying to do this as cheaply as possible so it will be easier to convince Marc of future trips on a budget. ;) :rolleyes1 It weighs next to nothing and doesn't take up a lot of space. :thumbsup2

I found this in my suitcase and I think it will work well if I go for a swim when I'm solo.

I hate leaving my room card and such just hanging around the pool. We used these on the cruise to Bermuda. It worked well because it just clipped to my bathing suit strap. It's waterproof so I don't have to worry about anything getting ruined. :thumbsup2

I think that is all of my rambling for now. :lmao: I do have some pictures of the kitties in the new apartment to share with you!

Loved the pictures for countdown. I cant believe how fast your trip is coming up. Thats exciting because that means mine is also S-L-O-W-L-Y creeping up.

The kitties look happy in there new home.

I have to share my new purchase with you today. DH and I have several days planned at the pool this next trip since it will be August. We decided we would get some beverages and snacks delivered from Garden Grocer or one of those places. So I have been eyeing this Mickey cooler on the Disney outlet. It was regular 29.99 and has been on sale for 19.99. Well I ordered it today with the extra 25% off promotion they have through today. It was about $21 with tax and shipping. I just hope it collapses so I can put it in the suitcase. If not I am still excited about it, and can just use it at home. Here it is:

A picture a day!! :yay::yay: Time is going to fly by! I loved each one of your pics but esp the one from Cinderalla's Royal Table, Marc trying the doors on Streets of America (can't wait til you get one that opens!), the light fixture that started it all, and the chandelier at LTT.

How cute that your mom is downplaying the excitement so as not to offend your dad! :goodvibes

Your kitties seem to be taking to your apartment quite nicely!! :)

Ooh, picture a day sounds fun!

I've read both Philippa Gregory Boleyn books, but not the Constant Princess. I thought they were fascinating, in an entertaining, yet disturbing sort of way. :rotfl:I think I might have to put the Constant Princess on trip book list.:thumbsup2

LOVE the picture of Sully lounging on the chair. The kitties definitely look at home in your new apartment.:goodvibes

Thanks, CP! I love looking at them. I really can't wait to take some more.

I love your purchase! I think that will work just great. :thumbsup2 You'll have to tell me how it works when you receive it.

I'm excited for a picture a day. I think the more I update my PTR, the faster the days go by!
I love that my Mom is downplaying it. It is so like her. :rotfl:

    Thanks! :goodvibes

They are really good. Constant Princess is about Katherine of Aragon. Very, very good. I love it.

You only have to wait until tomorrow! :rotfl:

:lmao: about the Hidden Mickey! I would have spotted it, too!

Cool trip goodies -- I know you can't wait to use all of them!

I keep looking at American Wife -- let me know if it is good. I love the cover! ;)

CP, I totally thought of you when I picked up American Wife! It reminded me of you or at least made me think it was a cover you would like. That is too funny.

I love my trip goodies. 40 days!

That is too funny! I can't tell you how many times I have picked that book up because I love the cover so much -- I just can't decide if I would enjoy the actual story -- so I hope you love it and tell me to read it. ;)

Woo hoo for 40 days!!! 55 for me!!!
