I enjoyed Tomorrowland as well for all the small nostalgic Disney touches and also because they filmed some of the movie where my Dad lives so it was fun trying to see if I could recognize the shooting location when it showed up.

That's always fun. Many years ago parts of Interview with a Vampire was filmed in my hometown and we did the same thing.

Sunday afternoon Dave and I made our last set of shirts. I'll take a pic and post it at some point. I think I may have caught a glimmer of excitement in my husband and that means the trip is really close.

Yesterday I took Hope to visit my 98 year old grandmother and my cousin (that is meeting us at Disney) met us there with her 3 kids for a play date. It would seem the trip is getting closer and the excitement is mounting. Well, for the adults anyway, our kids have no idea what's going on.

Tomorrow some of Dave's family will arrive for a few days to spend Thanksgiving with us. We then have a very busy week before we leave for vacation. I can't believe it's this close!

I finally have this pics of the shirts Dave & I made last weekend.

Our movie night plan was to watch Pocahontas sometime this week, but that didn't happen. We did manage to watch all 6 Star Wars movies.

I did some packing and repacking. The temps look like it will be warmer than I expected and I had way too many sweaters packed. It looks like Hope will get to swim and that will probably make this one of the best vacations ever. Swimming on vacay means so much to her.

We have friends staying at Caribbean Beach, so we may try to visit with them before they go home.

I just rebooked our car rental!
I went from paying $244.42 for a compact to $140.61 for an intermediate plus I get $20 gift card from costco after the trip!

It really is starting to seem real.

Now if only Hope and I could shake this cold we seemed to have started with yesterday.

Okay guys...it's December and that means, I am going to Disney this month!!!

It gets better...I'm going to Disney this week!!!

Oh my, I can't believe it's almost here.

I'm almost completely packed. A few more items and I should be done tonight. When we get up to leave we will just have Dave's shaver and our phone chargers to throw in.

Today we went to the Renaissance Festival and that gave me a chance to see how Hope will hold up with the brace. The was a much shorter day, but we had no complaints for the 4 hours we were there or the 2 hours in the car. I'll take that as a success.

Today we had the long awaited appointment with the spine specialist.

The nurse was out today and her replacement was the dietitian. Thank you Jesus!

She is working with the insurance to see if they will help pay for the nutritional drinks Hope needs to keep her weight up.

Dr said if her spine looks stable when we go back in March, he will reduce her hours to 20 a day.

After the appointment we stopped at Kohl's to use my Kohl's cash. After the sale, Kohl's cash, Kohl's rewards and a 25% off card I got this...



for $8.

She REALLY wanted this...and I'm thinking...okay, you can wear it to Disney!

It's totally insane to change plans the day before you leave...right?!?

I'm starting to think maybe we shouldn't use the 5 day tickets and only go 4 days. The problem is, I can't tell how many days of (other) tickets I have. I'll find out from Guest Services when I get there. In the meantime I think I will have a plan and a backup plan.

I just can't help but thinking between the 70 degree temps & Hope's love of swimming put together with the brace situation, we might want another off day.

Today is the hardest day to keep the secret. I want to tell her sooo bad. We are making chex mix, brownies and rice krispie treats for the trip today.

I am giddy with excitement right now! I put out the treasure hunt clues while Hope and Dave are at Poultry Club meeting. I know she is going to love this treasure hunt and the treasure isn't too bad either!

I am so EXCITED!

Hey guys! I went straight into Christmas mode after getting back from the trip. For some reason I thought I'd have enough time to get everything done after we got back. Yet here we are on the 20th and I'm checking tracking info to see when the gifts I ordered will arrive.

I'm going to go through some of my photopass photos today and hope to start on my trip report soon.
