LOVE this shot. Love the framing and love the sun glistening on the watern.
LOL, a razor blade, an onion and some soap!
And double LOL at throwing Claire's shells away! I need to try that when we go to Sanibel. We always bring home a huge batch of shells. We have bags and boxes of shells stuffed in closets and under sofas all over. And NOW you tell me all I had to do was just throw them back down when they're not looking!
And the jet skis look like tons of fun. So glad it wasn't a problem bringing Claire along!
I can't remember...were ya'll on the "first beach"? We took the tram to the second stop because I had read that it was less busy and it certainly was. At least for a while it was. The story of the girls' leaning tower of ice cream cones had me giggling.
Like I said before, even with everything being brown, the island is still beautiful.

I really think I need to stop reading your report, because all it is doing is making me want to take a cruise! And that's just not an option right now!!!!!
I LOVE to take jet ski's out on the ocean. It's a different experience than lake water. I grew up on a lake and then moved to Gulf Coast for a few years (during my time in Master's Commission!) and we went out a few times on the jet skis there! I LOVE IT!
So, what I have learned today, is that I need to wait until my girls are BOTH 8, so they can enjoy the jet skis with me!
I love all the photos from around the island. I so need to go again. The last time we have cruised out of Port Canaveral was in January 2011 and we were unable to dock at Castaway Cay. I had to laugh about the girls' ice cream creations.

You got some great pics of the Family Beach there, Jen. The area looks definitely different to Serenity Bay. Even the buffet is different.
I love that your sister is so good at packing a bag. There is always something unusual in mine too ...... thinking of screwdrivers
I alwys carry a screwdriver in my bag or purse. I have a friend that makes fun of me about it but it has come in handy more thatn once.
Great shot of CC. LOVE the lifeguard stand shot-- I may have to
"borrow" that one for some work related flyers - Always looking for a great Lifeguard stand shot.
I wonder how long it will take for my staff to figure our it is Disney....
I really need to add a screwdriver to my packed bag. There are times where you really need one.
Yes, you can borrow it. If you want the bigger version, let me know and I can email it to you.
LOL, I actually keep a small screwdriver in the bag of electronic chargers, cords and stuff I usually take on vacation.
My light-up Mickey snowman I put in our window at Disney in December usually needs fresh batteries half way through the week.
I really need to get one to add. I used to have extras at home, but for some reason the man who has tons of tools spread out in several barns seems to have stolen all but one. I should take a look at the dollar store next time I go. I think I bought some there many years ago.
You mean you don't have tools that he knows nothing about? Jen, I thought you were smarter than that!
I don't know if you watch "The Middle" but it's my favorite show. There's an episode where Frankie finds out Mike has a secret stash of batteries. The stash that he never tells her about. Even if means she or one of the kids is having a big battery crisis.
So go buy yourself a screwdriver. And an extra pair of scissors. And next time he asks if you know where there's a screwdriver, repeat after me ........ "No, I sure don't."
I hope I have that episode of "The Middle" on DVR. All of a sudden, I feel like watching it again!

I love the shoe the middle
I don't even know if I have ever heard of that show. And yes, I kept them kind of hidden but then there were times where he was fixing stuff in the house (those rare times) and asks for a tool and I give it to him and then they slowly disappear. I used to have like 3 hammers and 5 pliers...I have NONE now. So annoying.
It's on ABC Wednesday nights. It's a comedy about a frazzled mother with 3 kids. Gee, can't imagine what I see in that one!
And here's your mistake...... not even on RARE occasions can you let anyone know about your secret tools/batteries/scissors.
And FWIW..... EVERY single time I have caved and let someone see my pull my scissors out of their latest super secret hiding place, I have regretted it. The problem of course then is that I have to go find a new super secret hiding place....... and I usually forget where it is!
I would say this is what am I looking for. Furthermore, we are going to have a vacation this coming week end and as of now, we are looking for the complete package including the itinerary and most importantly, the quality of the good services.
i was a few pages behind, but wanted to chime in regarding your jet ski excursion. I love that excursion!! Being in land-locked lower ohio we try to ride jet skiis every chance we can get. The "Boys" took that excursion 2 trips ago and loved it. So our last cruise my wife, oldest son, and I were going to do it so she could experience it. However we booked it day 1 of our double dip and the winds were too high. When I asked on the ship about day 2 I was told the same that they were all booked up. I never even thought about checking at the rental place for openings on that 2nd day. However we did the stingray feed that day and not sure if grandma and grandpa would've let us explore the ocean while they watched our 2 littlest ones.. But now that I know to ask on the island if they're booked, I'll definitely keep that in mind!! I'd love to do that again, it was my favorite.
Definitely with you on the stingray feed. It was cool to do once, but don't have to do it again..
Jen, I am just stopping by to wish you safe travels and a fun time for your Williamsburg trip! Hope you are doing a trip report!
