As we walked off I got this shot of a car going up. I thought it was neat and I had a poser in there see the guy smiling for me!
You didn't know him? How kind of him to oblige.

I LOL'd at Claire saying it was for babies.
Kadence wasn't interested in going in at all, so maybe she had similar thoughts.
I see the tall trees and I know they out them there on purpose just to interrupt our photo taking!
We had discussed the barnstormer, but the circus area took all of her attention.
Nothing worse than a wet cranky child
Great pictures Jen even the ones taken on the non-high flying Dumbo. I love all of the new theming in the Storybook Circus area even if they did have to do away with my namesake portion of the park.
Claire makes me laugh. Morghan wouldn't step foot in Dumbo. I was really bummed as I wanted to see all the fun new stuff but she said she was much too old for any of that. 13 year olds seem to know everything, ya know? lol! Too bad for those really tall trees! I do like the pictures you did get.
And yep, Barnstormer is WAY too short.
I did not really know what to make of Storyland Circus. I loved the costumes that the characters were wearing at Pete's Sideshow, but the rest left me relatively cold. Now, New Fantasyland was a different matter.

Don't worry the crack can't be felt. I do plan on getting screen protector to keep it from cracking further. The screen can be replaced, but I don't need to do that as of yet.
This is cool - I never saw water art when we were at the World! Is this common???
I could be a water artist I think!!
OK Jen, just had an 18 point reply all typed out (and you know I'm fully capable of doing that......) then hit "submit" and it went bye bye!
Just a few of the points I recall:
1) Total bummer that your room was ready and they didn't text you. But I for one enjoyed your tour of AKL. I'm enjoying all of Claire's "rules". There's just something about little girls that give them the idea they are in charge. Yeah, I have that problem here occasionally.....
2) I enjoyed reading along with you meeting Carey and Kadence. And laughed along at the 2 of them having nothing to say. How often does THAT happen?????
3) What was your impression of storybook circus? I really liked it, but that could just be because my expectations were really low. I hadn't spent much time thinking about or anticipating it, than was surprised that I really enjoyed it!
4) I enjoyed the Disney on Ice shots. I really need a halfway decent point and shoot for stuff like that. I'm really tired of stressing over whether they'll let me in with my camera or not. Yours was not a show we have seen, nor is it the one we're seeing in March. I'd love to see it though. I loved the Small World pics! And I've never seen Lumiere skate. That would be worth the price of admission!
5) Enjoyed seeing all the Christmas pics. You really did clean up on that AG sale!
And with that, I am officially all caught up and ready for your next installment(s). It has been driving me nuts to see snippets of what you were posting but not really looking until I could get caught up. I wonder how long before I'm behind again!
You didn't know him? How kind of him to oblige.
I'll gladly accept whatever she's meant to get at future Christmas' esp if it's Disney stuffThe bad thing is, Claire has everything she could ever want, so I guess no more Christmas' for her!
Love all the new pics, and looks like XMAS was a blast!
It must be the season for cracked idevices! DS dropped his iPod last weekend, and totally cracked the entire front! Repairing one on that tiny device is $99! But he's only had it a year, so we definitely want to repair it. I told him to start saving his allowance, and ask Grandma if he can help her out with some household chores to earn extra money. He also has a birthday coming up, so maybe he'll find his way into some extra $$.
Yes, 2nd grade is definitely the Lego sweet spot! DS has been super into all of his this year, and that is probably the only park we're visiting when we go to Orlando in March.
Great pictures around Storybook Circus. The new "play area" waiting for Dumbo reminds me very much of a McDonald's or Chuck E Cheese...stuff for the little kids to climb in and you can't find them.
I love the new splash area...I think it is really neat, but I can definitely see needing an extra set of clothes.
I'll gladly accept whatever she's meant to get at future Christmas' esp if it's Disney stuff
Luvin the updates as well btw
Love your group picture. It had to be a great task to pull this off.
Love the Minnie photo
I loved the characters in their special costumes. I think my Photopass photos came out OK, but I have not really had a look at them since I got my disk.

Don't feel dumb. I too would have thought they were dressed that way for the party. Cute, cute pictures! The picture of Donald giving Goofy a thumbs down made me laugh!
I love how Claire is studying Minnie in one of the pics. Also love Donald's little performance to your cameras
And more great photos!
Sorry for the lighting being bad, but all in all your pics came out pretty well.
Love the fact that Donald is such a poser!
So this time I was all the way back on page 10, but I read all the way to 23 and I'm caught up again.
I saw that same Disney on Ice show! River wanted popcorn but I wouldn't let him have it for that much. I wanted the program until I saw how much it was, the guy working the booth never told me it came with anything extra and I didn't want to pay 20 just for the book.
Yeah for Skip picking out a good gift for you!
When River saw the picture of Alexis catching the food in her mouth he started jumping up and down and yelling "can we go there"
I think October is my favorite time of the year to go to Disney although I will take anytime I can get!
It looks like you all had a nice Christmas and did it up right!
As always I love looking at all your pictures.
Love the photos with Daisy & Minnie
(I'm getting caught up!)
You know, I thought the same thing y'all did looking at the play area. But I was surprised - my neices loved the play area (they're 5, 7, and 9). I think the biggest thing for them was the opportunity to run around and just play for a little while. They actually asked for time in the play area on our last trip, even though Dumbo was running with absolutely no wait at the time we were there...
