He is probably (hopefully??) going to Disneyland.
I'm sure he plans to use Disney's transportation for resort guests and not pay for that either. SMH!

OMG! What time was this... I wonder how long it took them to get that far... And how long it will take then to get to the gate?

I have heard AAA has very limited FCFS Spaces that are free to members. Maybe use a shuttle or Taxi?

Aren't those former names of a couple of sections of the Epcot parking lot?
My dd gave a power point presentation in school today. The subject was Walt Disney World, of course. Afterward there was a question and answer session. The teacher told my dd that he was going to WDW this summer with his wife and 2 young children. He has never been there and his wife was there as a child. The teacher told my dd that he was staying offsite about 2 miles away and refused to pay for parking. He has decided that he and his family are going to WALK to the parks!!!! They will be dehydrated before they even get to the entrance. My dd tried to tell him how big WDW is and he insisted they were walking. Sounds like a fun time!
Walt Disney World plus Celebration together is roughly equal in area to two Manhattans, or a squarish area from the ocean to the bay that encompasses San Francisco at the north end of that peninsula.47 square miles
andI'd be worried this person was my child's teacher
and calling him a bully, based on the original post strikes me as really unfair.if you decide to help this "teacher" at all
HEY, HEY, HEY. I KNEW SOME ONE WHO DID THIS!!! OMG,
A friend of mine is sort of a eco-nut/walker. Think forrest Gump when he walked around the country. Anyhoo, him and his wife do all sorts of things to leave a small ecological footprint on the planet. He bikes 20 miles to work each way, over bridges, in all manner of weather. trash day they may have 1 supermarket bag of stuff. it's amazing.
They went to disney and walked from their hotel every day to DTD. I don't think it was two miles but whenever they go on vacation, they map out how they can "walk" to any attraction.
I'm not kidding and they loved it!!
One thing I have learned guys is that there is some thing out there to float every ones boat. don't knock it.
I find it odd that there is so much teacher bashing on here based on what a parent said her child said about what the teacher said.
Perhaps the teacher was trying to be funny, perhaps the child misunderstood, perhaps...a hundred different things. I can completely seeing the teacher making a joke about walking--trying to be funny. Sometimes kids don't pick up on sarcasm or humor.
To say things like this: and and calling him a bully, based on the original post strikes me as really unfair.
My five and seven year old have come home with all sorts of things they claim happened at school. As a teacher, I've also heard some doozies. If I was really concerned, I would contact the teacher to get clarification. As teachers often say, "Don't believe everything you hear from your kids that they say happened at school, and I won't believe everything they say happens at home."
If people really think that this teacher is not fit to teach children based on a casual comment in class (about walking to Disneyworld of all things), then I think that's really sad that there is so little trust in our teachers.
