I feel sorry for people staying off property and local. The juosk lines are long. The fat pass line is long. We just had I over 15 minutes at potc. Probably would have been better for everyone just no fast pass.

Also I thought once you used your 3 FP per day you could use kiosk or ap to get another but you can not. Only 3 per day and cannot park hop.

We had one prob. We put our ap on it but you can't use for ap discount in stores. Have to have a ap card. Cms in store explained to me the bracelet was a room key not a ticket. They gave me a new ap card though. Said that ap holders will get new bands so on that should work better. Then even more faspasses willbe taken before park on wens. Predict a mess for spring break and summer guests.
The MBA who convinced them to spend money on this should be fired. Fixed a problem that didn't exist by spending a fortune and making a Mess. Universal will benefit nicely.

A dozen or so DISboarders who have been to MK during the past 5 days seem to be agreeing with you... :sad2:

    Thanks for the first-hand report!

Well it is a holiday weekend so I have to wonder how it would have been even with legacy this weekend.

I'm holding out hope for my February trip.

A little crowded not spring break or summer levels. Much Brazil.

Sorry it's not working out for you! I had a hard time getting through the post though. Seems like your autocorrect has gone awry.

even during spring break last year (before wide FP+ testing), we were able to get 5-7 FPs in MK and didn't see MK run out of FPs at all until evening hours

Yuck. These lines can't move as fast the legacy ones did, can they? Not with the choices involved (what times, which attractions) that you didn't have with legacy FP (insert ticket, get FP). That looks like a 30-minute time suck at least.

Disney should have a lot more of those kiosks out and about. The only thing more frustrating than waiting in that line on vacation, would be waiting in the Guest Services long line just to get the MagicBand to work in the first place.

If you don't want the suggested times, it would take even longer to switch them. It takes me forever to switch everything around on my iPad when I am relaxing in my house with coffee.

This just sealed it for me: We are not going in March.

We've been on the fence waiting to book. There is no way in heck I am waiting in any kind of line like I see here. We'd be staying at Swan and buying a Premier Pass so wouldn't be able to reserve anything prior to our trip.

How can any of this be a positive thing????? :scared1:

It has a positive--it's right there in the name. Don't you see it? Look harder! ;)

Can you imagine waiting in that Kiosk line, and then once you get there finding out that the headliners are gone. :sad2:

and then when you do score a FP+ you have to wait in that return line shown above. Wow.

    d-r thank you for posting.

These photos are awful, but I can't turn away. I feel bad for the people in those line.

That is probably the longest FP return line I've seen in a long while, if ever.

This suggests to me, as I've long suspected, that it takes longer for each FP holder to scan their band/ticket for the green Mickey than it does or a CM to eyeball a group of 3/4/5/6 or more paper FPs.

I had my reservations about FP+ and now I see they were valid. We've gone to WDW between one and three times per year, but I'm definitely skipping this year, and next year will probably spend more time at Universal and minimal at WDW.
