Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) - ***UPDATED - post #411 ***

Thank you my friend, you're right I would be worried about Becky if we did the cruise anyway, so I'm going to concentrate on the Tortola one .....I will expect you to toast me when you're in Barbados on my Birthday though (with champagne of course)

I will toast you with a glass of very good champagne in Barbados on your Birthday. That is going to be my happiest day anyway because I will get to swim with the Sea Turtles again. I'll be glowing with happiness when I do a toast to you.

Now Onward to Tortola, I'm excited about that one right now because it's the next crusie that I'll be doing.

I asked DH John if we could do the same thing, give up the second week.....he said he really, really wanted to do it. I said I really, (four times) wanted to do this one. So we're doing both. The B2B and this one.

With all of these cruises to pay for I cannot imagine adding another one. We'll skip NYE until all of these are paid off. Thanks for the invite. Before this booking I was looking at the same cruise though......the Wonder 4 night for NYE......it's so funny how we choose the same cruises.

And we aren't that far away from one another either.. We should try and plan to sit with each other at dinner or something, since we should be seeing you on several occassions..

I too wanted to do the 2nd leg, cause my brother & sister in law live in Key West and to get to spend the day with them is soooo Awesome.. sooo DH told me, look into the Wonder that stops in Key West!!!

Glad you still get to visit your DB and DSIL in Key West. It's a wild town, been there a couple of times. But it's also a lot of fun. And it's beautiful. You'll have a great time.

Are you going to Atlantis? I did a 4 night last halloween with the whole family, seven of us all. We got rooms at Atlantis and wrist bracelets that let us do anything on property. It was awesome.

Yes, we do go to AC but we stay mainly at Harrahs. We play 3 card poker at the Tables...

Yes, I love Key West.. and Yes, it gets WILD for sure.. I get Key Lime Cookies from Kermits, everytime we go..

We have been to Atlantis but we safe Castaway for the beach and if we do Atlantis, DH will be in the Casino.. We did an excursion once with fish tanks I don't remember exactly what it was..

Wow, that's a hard call. I know if it was me I would WANT to keep it a secret for a Christmas surprise, but I Wouldn't be able to do it. I would have to tell at least my DH and maybe keep it a secret from DS.

Funny you should ask..... HE CALLED to see if they had a Suite open and the lady was like, Sir, it shows here that you already have a Suite reserved..

He came home and asked if this means I will be decorating our room with a Christmas Tree now that we have more room.. I said too bad there isn't a Fireplace with a mantel.. I'd be hanging Stockings and adding a Yule log..

I'm still here - we have just all come down with flu this week, so I haven't had much time to visit in between comforting two poorly babies!!

Now that the cruise is booked, I'm trying to focus on what hotels to book before and after the cruise!!

This will be our first (and only - because of DH's work!!) trip to the World over Christmas so I want it to be extra special. I am currently thinking - MK view at the poly for before the cruise and WL for afterwards - although I really fancy BWI (with a view over the boardwalk for NYE!!) - so I am torn!!

I was just speculating about renewing my wedding vows in 2010 on my 20th anniversary, but to do it on the date we got married......I would have to do the WB TA in September just before doing this cruise. I can't do it and I'm not giving this cruise up. I think I'll renew my vows on our 25th anniversary.

I was thinking of bringing a small plastic tree that I put out every year from our first Christmas and it stll has the first Christmas ornament on it. I'm doing a B2B in Sept 09 going to Eastern Caribbean including Tortola and then a Western Caribbean right after.

It feels great to have three cruises booked. Now it's another thing to think about paying for them.

You have to be careful when it comes to a Tree.. In the What is Prohibited in the DCL info it specifically says Christmas Trees.. I would assume it means real ones and not plastic ones, but ya never know..

Hey Stacy, thanks for that heads up.....I didn't even think of that. Maybe we can order some DCL decorations and just let them do it.

btw, are you getting as confused as me with all the different threads? I'm used to only doing one at a time. Sometimes, this gets very crazy!

Yes, especially when we keep following each other on each cruise thread, I keep looking up at the thread title to make sure I am where I am suppose to be
