How much is your 2013 WDW vacation going to cost you?

We are hoping to either go March 30 - April 8 or June 11 - June 20. I am leaning more towards June because I'm really, really, REALLY hoping for YES tickets. We will have free airline more than likely with SW miles.

We'll have 10 day hoppers w/ Waterpark and more
No dining plan

Right now it's looking around $5,000 BUT I'm hoping to get that down to about $4,000.

Also sticker shock for us with our little guy turning 3 also.

Looking into Swan or Dolphin w/ teacher discount.

I was feeling quite a bit of buyers remorse for the trip I had booked and listed previously on this thread, so I made some changes.

Now our trip is as follows:

Travel Dates: 4/18/13 - 4/28/13 (10 nights/11 days)
Travel Party: 2 Adults, 2 Children (8 and 6 at time of travel)
Resort: Beach Club, Garden View Room = $2925.48 (with 40% military discount)
Airfare: RT from Boston via Jet Blue = $1181.40 (this includes travel insurance)
Food and souvenirs: $1750 (we'll be using TiW card)
Tickets: $0 (we have annual passes from this year that I've already included the entire purchase of on our last trip.
Grand Total: $5856.88

A lot better than the $7600 I was approaching, and still a real nice vacation, IMHO. :flower3:

Since I am missing this year, I am going twice next year.

June 2013; me, DF (my favorite bartender), her DD18 and DS14. We are celebrating DD18 high school graduation. And my First Road trip - we are driving from Delaware.

POR - Standard room, 7 nights; 8 day PH ticket; MYW Dining Plan Plus

me: $2,321.36

her: $1,843.40

December 2013; me, three friends from work

POR, 4 nights, garden view room; 5 day PH ticket; MYW Dining Plus AND Disney Wonder, 3 night Bahamian cruise; Deluxe Family Veranda Cabin with transfers.

Each: $1,575.00

My family has two separate reservations. We're doing 6 days/5 nights at Pop Century with a 5 day hopper pass and Quick Service dining. Our travel dates are 2/23-2/28.

For my parents and I:
$1877.97 for the package + $870 for the flight (Boston to MCO), or $915.99 each.

For my sister and BIL (plus their 1-year old):
$1462.44 for the package + $580 for the flight, or $1021.22 each (not counting the baby!).

I'm a lot more thrifty than the rest of my family, so I'm only budgeting about $150 for shopping and meals not included in the dining plan.

We were originally books at AoA in the Little Mermaid rooms, but switched to Pop to get the Stay, Play, Dine discount, which worked out to be almost the same as free dining for us. I'm a little sad about missing out on AoA, but it's worth it to save $$$!

Updating mine...

Jan 4 - Jan 18, 2013

Me, DD14, DS17
OKW 1BR 14 nights at 35% off (will hopefully be 40% with AP discount) $4704.14
Airfare $793.90
Tickets $0 (we have APs that we already used for 20 days this year--so counting this as a freebie)
No dining plan
Groceries $250 (based on last trip of 16 days)
Spending money - Probably around $1000. Can't see us buying too much besides our four ADR's, snacks, an arcade card, and a few trinkets when we've already been twice in the past year.
Petsitter $700

Total: $7447

I have found this thread very interesting!! I hope to be able to dish out that much money for a vacation one day! I would be living it UP and going crazzzzyyy!!!

I might be off topic, but my husband and I are going Dec8th-Dec13th this year and I'm excited. Is there a 2012 thread I missed?! ANYWAYS...

Plane Tickets: $111 pp ($222)
baggage fees: ($70)
All Star Sports 5 nights w/FL resident discount: $427...sharing with another couple....($214)
4 day tickets FL resident discount....$192 pp ($384)

Grand Total: $890 plus the cost of quick service meals and 2 pairs of mickey ears :thumbsup2

A lot :rotfl:

But then we are making it a rather special trip :

Starting the 26th of april 2013 :Take the boat from the UK : Queen Mary 2 :yay:

Arrive a week later in new york, take the train from there to florida. (hubby is major trainlover :) )
Get off in Jacksonville, rent a car and take it easy travelling to WDW arriving three days later.
Get a standard room at the Wilderness Lodge for 13 nights, 10-day park hopper tickets. Hopefully with a room-discount. Free dining doen't work for us since we share every meal except buffets of course. The amounts of food served are just too much for us!

Fly home.

Cost will be about 10-12K ($).... :scared1:

But hey: we can afford it. We have no kids, both have a good job and we spend little on other things. We just like to travel :moped:

Staying at CSR
Check in: August 18
Check out: August 23
Me, DW, DS (11), DS (11)
6 day tickets (no hopping & no water parks)

Total price for this: $2,142.00

Add another $500 to $600 for traveling roundtrip (we drive)
and about $300 for sovenirs
for a grand total of about $3,000.00

2 adults, 5 nights POFQ (Jan. 24-29), 4 day MYW base ticket, s/p/d: $1,585
Airfare: $250 plus $100 baggage fees
$300 spending money
Can't wait!!!

Hello this is scary now that I added it all up.

Trip 11/10-11/18
2 Adults, 3 kids 8,6,3

2 days in Doubletree Melbourne, FL-$225
Food for those 2 days-$100

Gas-$300 Roundtrip cause we are driving

Tickets 4 day base WDW and 1 day base Universal Islands of Adventure and MVMCP= $1935.17
Rented points for 2 bedroom at SSR for 6 nights= $2617.23
Food for seven days including ressie at Boma=$900
Souveneers=$550

Total Cost for Family of five for 9 Day vacation= $ Priceless

Okay no really $6627.40

I don't wanna know :rotfl2: All I have booked right now is our package - me, mom, three kids at POR for 7 nights with 8 day base tickets - no discount out yet - no dining added - just under $3100. Then me and the kids are doing 2 nights room only at Pop at the start and finish of our trip - hoping for a room only discount for those to come out too, I haven't booked those yet.

I did figure up dining and we save around $600 not paying for dining, so this will be our first OOP food trip (6th trip) unless free dining comes out and it's better than a room only discount.

Not booked yet, but planned and budgeted for:

Dec 2013
7 nights BLT 2Br - DVC
7 nights SSR
3 PAP - $1200
Air Fare $550.00 + Air Miles
Dining + Expenses - $2000

$3750.00 + DVC Points

Too much :p
3 adults one 11-year old - 12/31-01/07

" 2 nights at Little Mermaid rooms at AOA - $425.28
" 5 nights at POFQ garden view, reg. DP, 6day base tickets - $2402.74
" Food and beverage two days four people - $240
= $3,068.02

And then there is the airfare - $3,299
(Copenhagen - Orlando / 2 stops/four people)
- but we'll have 10 days in Orlando area before WDW

WDW + airfare = 6,367.02

And then we'll have all of the souvenirs, breakfast etc...... Think our holiday with Orlando, IoA, DC, WDW all incl. will cost about $10,500!!!! Oh my.. :o lol...
