Then it was 1PM and it was time for our reservation for Walt's An American Restaurant.
That lunch was a big disaster. First Merlijn wet his pants, and I forgot to bring spare clothes with me. So I had to wrap him in a warm blanket so he wouldnt be showing his willy during dinner. And then the waitress was so slow I would nearly thought she was going backwards. I had to wait for over an hour for my main course and she came bringing me my dessert first.
And when I asked for my main course she brought it to me right away, but it was clear that it had been waiting for me for a long long time. It didnt taste as good as it should. Next time when Im going to eat at Walt's I request to be helped by a different server.
But the theming of the restaurant is really good. Its like dining in Walt's and Lilly's home. It's very cosy. You dine in different rooms with all kind of props from Walts home.
Here are some pictures:
The stairs to get to the dining floor. (they have an elevator too)
Merlijn and me waiting to be served

Merlijn colouring after 30 minutes not being served yet:
Kids menu, they didnt even wanted to offer a milk free dessert at all. And I had to pay extra for extra melon instead of the regular dessert.
Teen menu which ofcourse we didnt order:
Merlijn's plate, in the menu it said that the fish would come with vegetables. Well they didnt came at all. And the lady wanted me to pay for the vegetables.
This was my starter, I dont remember what it was, but it was good!
After a long long hour my duck finally came. It would have been delicious if it was served the moment it was ready. Now it tasted like its been out way to long
This was my dessert, it was Walt's cheese cake. Which was absolutely delicious.
To make it up to us for the long wait, the lady gave us the Tinkerbell cup and a kids coctail shaker for free. Which was kind of nice. Too bad we spend 2,5 hours in that restaurant.
