After Mickey's Showtime Spectacular, the CM's were preparing the track for Disney's Fantillusion Parade. A couple of crazy castmembers were walking around selling those light thingy's:

DSC00372.JPG

And Merlijn choose one with Minnie. The skirt actually lit up :D
DSC00378.JPG

At 10:30PM the Fantillusion parade began. The floats are really amazing. They actually change shape during the parade, right in front of your eyes.
Its about evil stealing the light, and all lights in Mainstreet USA and the Castle are turned off. And then the princesses come and good brings light back to the parcs.

Here are some pictures:

A short wait after the Fantillusion parade, the Enchanted firework started. It was really pretty. I really like the music of the movie Enchanted and that with fireworks. Amazing!

The pictures are not perfect but I hope you will still enjoy them:

After the fireworks I just sat on the bench waiting for the exit-rush to die down. Merlijn fell asleep in his stroller.
And then I walked through Mainstreet, through Disny Village and past other hotels back to my own hotel Santa Fé.

The alarmclock went off at 7AM, just like a normal weekday :D But this time I went to bed at 1AM.
I get dressed, have difficulties to wake up Merlijn, but we head to the parcs at 7:45AM. We have breakfast at Plaza Gardens restaurant at 8:15AM.
Remember that breakfast is included in a Disneyland hotel stay. And once during your stay, you can have breakfast in the park, either in Chatelet au Marionet or Plaza Gardens restaurant for free, ofcourse its subject to availability.

Here are a couple of pictures of breakfast. I know I should have made more and better pictures, maybe use some flash. But I was still trying to get to know my new photocamera.

Your photos and videos are amazing. Really enjoying your trip report so far. Looking forward to further updates.

Sorry for not finishing my TR before. :) Lets get to the second part of Day 2.

First we tried to get into Buzz Lightyears Lazer Blast, too bad that it was going to open later that day due to unknown reason. So we walked towards Fantasyland as you could see in the pictures I posted before.

First we went into Mat Hatters Tea Cups. Merlijn looks really serious in this attraction, but he loved it.

Then its Dumbo time :D

The view from the Flying Elephants is amazing:

After the Elephants Merlijn wanted to ride the horsies in Lancelots Carrousel:

DSC00546.JPG

After the horsies it was time to walk to It's a Small World which opens at rope drop. Some random Fantasyland pictures:

And ofcourse I made some pictures in It's a Small World:

And at the exit of It's a Small World, you can find a cute exhibition sponsored by France Telecom. It's about world wide cummunication. There are many small televisions featuring a child from a country, who is communicating with a child coming from another country through telephone and internet.
And if you look well you will find another tv with that second child communicating with the first child.

Now it was a bit after 10am and Merlijn really wanted to go into Pirates of the Caribean again. So off we went.

We walked past Adventure island. The island is really cool, with different adventurous pathways, through caverns etc. And unlike Tom Sawyers island in WDW, this island is connected to the "main land" with bridges, instead of boats. Making it easier for people to actually get on the island without having to wait for a boat.

Here are some pictures I've made of Adventure Isle with Skull Rock and Captain Hook's boat.

And here some pictures of Pirates of the Caribean. Merlijn put his arms over his head because he was affraid of getting wet. <3

After Pirates we went to ride Big Thunder Mountain again. Merlijn first didnt want to go, untill he told me why: he was affraid to get wet, and he thought I didnt want him to put his hands over his head. After I assured him that he was allowed, he really wanted to ride. Isn't he cute :D

Departing the Thunder Mesa mine (Big Thunder Mountain ;) ), we boarded the Mark Twain riverboat. It goes around the Big Thunder Mountain Island. I've made lots and lots of pictures.

It was still early in the day (11 am) so I went outside Disneyland Parc and went all around the Pink Palace (Disneyland Hotel which functions as the entrance port of the Disneyland Parc) to go to Salon Mickey, which is the VIP lounge for Shareholders Club members. You can have a free non-alcoholic drink and some pastries when you are there.

DSC00696.JPG

Then we walked through the Discovery Arcade (behind the Mainstreet stores on the right side) towards Discoveryland.

Here are some pics of the arcade:

Discoveryland is a Jules Verne themed land, which is the DLP version of Tomorrowland. Here are some pictures of Discoveryland.

Then it was 1PM and it was time for our reservation for Walt's An American Restaurant.
That lunch was a big disaster. First Merlijn wet his pants, and I forgot to bring spare clothes with me. So I had to wrap him in a warm blanket so he wouldnt be showing his willy during dinner. And then the waitress was so slow I would nearly thought she was going backwards. I had to wait for over an hour for my main course and she came bringing me my dessert first. And when I asked for my main course she brought it to me right away, but it was clear that it had been waiting for me for a long long time. It didnt taste as good as it should. Next time when Im going to eat at Walt's I request to be helped by a different server.

But the theming of the restaurant is really good. Its like dining in Walt's and Lilly's home. It's very cosy. You dine in different rooms with all kind of props from Walts home.
Here are some pictures:

The stairs to get to the dining floor. (they have an elevator too)

Kids menu, they didnt even wanted to offer a milk free dessert at all. And I had to pay extra for extra melon instead of the regular dessert.
DSC00734.JPG

Teen menu which ofcourse we didnt order:
DSC00735.JPG

Merlijn's plate, in the menu it said that the fish would come with vegetables. Well they didnt came at all. And the lady wanted me to pay for the vegetables.
DSC00736.JPG

This was my starter, I dont remember what it was, but it was good!
DSC00737.JPG

DSC00740.JPG

After a long long hour my duck finally came. It would have been delicious if it was served the moment it was ready. Now it tasted like its been out way to long :(
DSC00744.JPG

This was my dessert, it was Walt's cheese cake. Which was absolutely delicious.
DSC00746.JPG

To make it up to us for the long wait, the lady gave us the Tinkerbell cup and a kids coctail shaker for free. Which was kind of nice. Too bad we spend 2,5 hours in that restaurant. :(
