Epcot International Festival of the Arts- UPDATED Times Guide on Post 61

Anyone know if the shirts specifically the figment Mona Lisa one will be available on the disney park shopping app? Our son is autistic and loves the Mona Lisa he has a a small version having in his room and loves Figment. When my wife showed him the photo of the shirt he was so excited. We are not going to be down there till the week of Jan 29th and I doubt they will last that long.
Unfortunately when I asked Steven Miller on Twitter about which items would be carried on the Shop Parks App, he said that the purple shirt (the Mona Lisa one) and the Scavenger Hunt maps would not be offered via the app.

scavenger hunt is $6.99 plus tax these are the prize, Figment magnets :)

That looks awesome! Where do you sign up for it?

AP/DVC for first and second shows and DP for third show I assume 1/2 theater will be reserved and 1/2 will be open

We were at the first show on Friday, and the AP/DVC area was only a few rows in the section outside the covered area, just right of center. The covered area was for press and VIPs, but it was the first show, so who knows what they will do for the others. The majority of the audience space was for stand by.

I've never been to EPCOT during a festival before...how do the scavenger hunts work? Do you pay for the hunt? Do you get a prize even if you don't finish it? THANKS!

I went to the Disney Food Blog and looked at every single food item at the booths. Quite frankly, a lot of it is almost too pretty to eat, LOL. Some are also outrageously expensive for the small plate.

If someone is going soon, could they stop by the Hungry Artist stand in or near Mexico and take a picture of the margaritas? For $14, that had better be a big-a** margarita.

I'm here now. Had the passion fruit, coconut one, on the rocks full regular cup. I got a pic

Josh at easywdw posted a photo of them yesterday and they are huge!

Has anyone seen the show without preferred seating? Any idea how early we should line up? Thanks!

I got in line about an hour before show #2 tonight and was standing parallel to the jofferys cart in case you wanted a visual of line length

For the figment hunt, you pay when you pick up the map and stickers. You then walk around the world showcase matching the portraits with figment in them to the country you find them in. When you're finished, you take the completed map to Disney Traders to pick up your choice of figment magnet. I don't think your map has to completed or correct to get your magnet. Essentially, you are actually paying for the magnet as the hunt is just a paper map and stickers. It was a lot of fun and explored some parts of the countries that I haven't been to before. And there is an AP discount; didn't ask about any other discounts.

My daughter and I weren't planning on watching the show last night as we have the wp staying on Monday but were walking through 20 minutes verge the second show. Decided to watch from right outside the theater, 1 minute before the show started the open the entire theatre ropes because it wasn't full. We grabbed seats towards the back and had a great view

Ok, here are our thoughts from yesterday ,DD16 and I, we tried to include as many "arts" as we could to give a rounded review on the festival:
Visual Arts:
We would have liked to see more art booths and maybe some that we can't see at Disney on a daily basis, we were lucky that the weather turned for the better yesterday and some booths were able to open up more and also the awesome surprises of chalk artist around the world. We chatted with a couple of artists while they created their work. It was so much fun to be able to do the Animation Class again, they take 33 people per class and by the picture I will post below, I noticed I lost my touch. Cast Members told us that if they get enough positive feedback this might be a permanent addition to Innoventions, so I am sending my email to Disney to try and make this happen. We would give the visual arts portion a B+.
Performing Arts:
All of it was amazing, the living statues delight young and old, American Music Machine was right on point and the Broadway concert is something I will try and attend every weekend. This is coming from a theater mom and all around Broadway geek. A+++
Culinary Arts:
We tried something from 4 out of the 8 featured kiosks, actually would have been 5 but one of them was sold out of the item we wanted, this was around 5pm, womp, womp. The presentation is spectacular but because they want you to see what it takes to create these edible masterpieces you have to wait a longer time for your food making the lines long. It doesn't help that the prices are on the higher end for the portion you get. While almost everything was delicious, my daughter and I tried some things yesterday with the Guarache from El Artista Hambriento, Pan Seared Scallops from the Artist Table and a the Caramel chocolate mousse bar from Decadent Delights being the highlight of our experience so far; the trio of savory cronuts was our one and only letdown. Very greasy, the whipped cream one was not good at all while the other two were just ok. At the moment and because it was weekend 1 and we have not tried all the booths I will give them a C+
We did the free watermelon carving seminar, they take about 70 people per free seminar, and even though we didn't get to carve ourselves we got to see a chef from Boardwalk work while she explained technique and the proper utensils, the seminar was 25 minutes long
We also did Figment's scavenger hunt and once we knew what we were looking for found all but China (we didn't look in Norway cause it was crazy bananas) Nice magnets to chose from
And the guests mural was completed last night, my daughter loved this activity even if it only takes like 5 minutes, I hope they have extra ones
I'll be happy to answer any questions

Thanks! My daughter LOVES scavenger hunts, so I'll set aside some money for her to do this. I just wanted to make sure that she'll get her prize even if she can't finish it! :)

The little chocolate paintings are way too adorable to eat. Thanks for the margarita pic!!! I can't wait to try one!

Since the features are supposed to change weekend to weekend, does anyone have insights into special activities or differences next weekend (Jan 20-23)? I'll be heading down and can't wait to find out what is new!

Oh wow. The food and the mural look great. If I may ask 2 questions, Which item was sold out when you went? I'll get there early if it's something I really want to try. And did you notice if the AP shirts had a good size stock? We won't be there until 2/5. Thanks!

Thanks for all the details, @yulilin3! I'm really glad I've scheduled a little extra time in Epcot for our trip.
It looks like that margarita is regular size - did you happen to notice if any of the other beverages were?
