DVC members..Doctors, Lawyers, Retirees...

I'm a retired HS English teacher (yippee!). Now I do a little consulting, a little teaching, a little writing, and-- as much as possible-- traveling. What a wonderful world!

I am a stay at home mom as well as a part-time graduate student. One year to go and I will have my Master's in Public Administration & Policy. :Pinkbounc Dh is an elevator mechanic with Otis Elevators.:wave2:

I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist in two elementary schools. DH is a full-time student on his way to earning his degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering.

I'm a student workng towards my degree in Elementary Ed. I do many part time jobs including waitressing (dinner yr round and breakfast in the summer), a child care worker at a health club, birthday party coordinator at the same health club and substitute teacher. I'm a very busy person with not many bills....so the timing was perfect for DVC!

I've been an RN for the past 13 years, worked mainly ER and ICU, now have been in Case Management for the past year, and HATE it! Thinking about going back to per diem nursing. Was a hair stylist for the previous 15 years prior to becoming an RN. What was I thinking???? DH is in medical sales. Our home resorts are VWL and BCV. DH is looking for a new position in the central FL area. Our dream is to relocate there. Keeping fingers crossed! As an RN, fortunately, I can get a job anywhere.:D

I am a protector of the american way of life with 25 years active duty and counting. No reason to retire now that we have a mission to accomplish. Better half is a RN.
We Love WDW!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a part-time college instructor - teach all things about theatre and some about tv. Have also been in the fundraising business, but really like teaching so much more! Have a home-based business, am full time mom to 2 great kids. (DS is already a foot taller than me - DD is not there just yet!)
DH also works at same college. For the last 16 years he was Theatre Manager there, now runs the TV Studio and Radio Station. DS will be a student at....wait for it....yes, the same college where we both work. ::yes:: And, no, they don't cut us a break for tuition....more points will have to wait a few years, I think.

A BIG Thanks to you and all who protect our cherished freedoms!

Wow we (DVC) are a great Big Diverse Family. So many different occupations and here I am redecorating our bedroom. Since I have been out of work since Christmas of '95, I helped my mom take care of my ailing dad, who past away in 2001, then I took care of my ailing puppy who started showing her age right after my dad died she was 14 in Dec. she past away on 4/03/04. Now I am running my mom all over since she wrecked her car in March and debating whether to get another one. So let me see my occupation in the past 7 years is keeper of the sick (nickname my dh gave me) and errand runner and homemaker. In my original job at the retail store I was, Stockroom clerk, Toy dept saleperson, Receiving office clerk, Receiver, Stockroom Manager,
Helped out in the Cash office, I was also a cashier. I also did price changes for clearance merchandise. My last job is one everyone hates. You know when you get used to where everything is in a store then you go in and everything is changed around? Yep that would be me. The Home office would send me "PLAN-O-GRAMS" and I would relable and rearrange the shelves. Then when UPC scanning came out I used to program the computor with the correct prices for sales or price changes and I also did inventory. Out of all the positions I had in the 27 years at this job I loved the Toy dept. I loved the faces of the little kids when they saw the new toys and I got to play with the Disney toys.

I am a Senior Inspector with the US Marshals Service. I will be eligible to retire in less than 11 months after almost 30 years of law enforcement experience. My DW is a Personnel Management Specialists with the SEC. My DW is business owner-garden center and I am police officer. BCV is our home

I am (until tomorrow) a British Police Officer.. I then retire after 30yrs service..my wife works at a disney store.. have been with DVC since 1992... lots of scope now for even more visits!!!

I am an attorney, currently working on projects that improve the Criminal Justice System. I love my job. :)
