Hi , Everyone Im new to this thread and havent had a chance to read it yet . We are staying at CBR in September in one of the rooms that sleep 5 with either a waterview or pool view. We booked Bounce Back Free Dining last summer the only moderate we have ever stayed at is POR and my son has been wanting to try CBR so we finally are Can anyone tell me where these rooms are located or what the best locations are as we have a child that cannot walk very well and gets weakened muscles after walking for short periods of time . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hi, I have a few questions if anyone can help.

1) We will be picking up a rental car a few days after we arrive, can I ask for the parking pass at check-in so it saves us having to come back to Custom House?

2) On our check-out day we will want to leave luggage with bell services. If we call them that morning or the previous night to arrange a time, will they just take our cases without us having to go with them?

3) Do I physically need to go to Custom house to check-out?

FREE FOOD AND WATER BOTTLES!!

Hello! We are leaving tomorrow and still have a TON of food/water bottles left that we will not be able to consume or take back home on the plane.

We have an unopened case of Zephyrhills water bottles (35 count), and another half case (obviously opened....)
Five single serving Cool Ranch Doritos chips
About 20 single serving Planters Peanuts Variety Pack (Salted Cashews, Salted Peanuts and Honey Roasted Peanuts)
and about 30 single serving Chex Mix snack mix (Traditional flavored)

Anyone want?? It's all FREE for the taking!

We're in the pirate rooms, so the only condition is that you'd have to come get them (building 36). Just message me on here and I will respond with the room numbers when we get back from the park tonight. We are leaving at noon tomorrow.

We don't arrive until Thursday the 30th. I'll be glad to take them but you would have to leave with bell services. Let me know and I'll PM you with info.

Just returned yesterday from our first stay at CBR. Overall, enjoyed the resort but the only other Disney resort I have to compare it to is 2 stays at AKL. We stayed 6 nights in Jamaica building 43. Fairly good location and about a 7 minute walk to OPR and less than 5 minute walk to bus stop.

Pros: Beautiful resort. I liked the décor (the dark wood reminded me of AKL). Housekeeping was for the most part good (twice did not leave enough towels so we had to call and get more). Bus transportation was great! The entire trip we waited less than 5 minutes for buses. Only on one occasion did we wait more than 5 minutes and that was one evening going to DTD. Only once did we have to stand; however, Jamaica did seem to be the first pick-up area. My dd loved the pools.

Cons: The food court! Having to order from multiple stations when different family members want different things is crazy. By the time you wait in line 3 different times for 3 different meals and pay, the food from the first 2 stations is cold. If I ever stayed here again, I would make sure to not have to eat any meals here. Our room happened to be facing a smoking area. This was not a problem at all. However, in order to walk to OPR we had to walk right through the smoking section. I just wish they could find somewhere else to put the smoking section (not that I am against people smoking my dd just has terrible allergies!). There were some Cheerleader groups arriving later this week. I am interested to see how this weekend went for people staying there now. While at the quiet pool on Thursday, I had to keep my daughter to a certain side of the pool away from them due to their language and talking about sex. Their coach/mom was sitting right by them and did nothing. It was just irritating that little ears were there and they were so disrespectful. Also, one of them was sitting by the pool (not in the smoking section) smoking away. These groups would probably make me want to go back to staying Deluxe!

1. You can ask, but they are getting rid of paper parking passes. They are switching to just scanning your magic band. Not sure if CBR has switched over yet.

2. Yup.

I'm not sure if things have changed since November or not but they did check our magic bands AND ID (hubby was forever forgetting this part and needing to dig out his wallet) another resorts when going for either meals or just to look around AND at the parks they looked very carefully at the paper pass to check the date it was good till. We just got ours when we checked in. Didn't get the car till the following day.

Had no issues and no paper parking passes. Had dinner at Contemporary, GF, and BW and all we had to show was our Magic Bands to get to parking.
