Thanks, that was my first reaction! I do have 2 separate ones. So I double checked the one I was using and I did use that account. After 5 tries, it started working. Weird but I'll take it.

Super torn on this one.
-I (think) I have almost $800 in ebay limit available (tomorrow, if not today; and another 800 next week, and then 1700 the week after that).
-I said I would hold out for 5x.
=In September there were 2 5x offers, and then 1 in November. Then there weren't any until February, and 1 in March so far. I suspect there won't be any more 5x offers until May, unless there's another one in March.

I have enough in Target cards already to get what I need for my May trip in Disney cards. Next trip after that isn't until October, so I will have time to churn. I am going to be strong and sit this one out. If there aren't more 5x deals by the time I get back from Disney in May, I will look at 4x offers (and maybe when they next 5x is out, there will be more than 1% available in cashback).

I saw that too. Great deal for those who can use Sears or Kmart. I am terrified of being stuck with either of these store's GC's so I won't even try.

I can use Target GCs and eBay GCs if the churning process ever falls apart. But Sears and Kmart are never on my list of places to shop. Not worth the risk for me to even attempt it.

I was having problems again w/ PP. Tried to purchase $750 trgt gcs but last $200 erased the others. Then I tried $600 trgt gcs and it seemed to work but I realized that Ebay Bucks changed to only $12. Started over and bucks went back to $48.

I have a Target RedCard and we were planning to buy Disney gift cards from there and get 5% off. But then we read about people who buy Target gift cards at a discount, to then buy Disney gift cards. Sounds great, but I saw in my Target CC fine print that the 5% off only comes off the portion of your total that you will be using the credit card for, AFTER any gift cards have been applied. From the last few threads it seems like a lot of you are buying eBay gift cards to Target... so am I missing something?

How are you able to get your PP problems resolved? Are you getting an error on the checkout? I get one and have called PP and ebay both multiple times...called PP at least 6 times, have been escalated to everyone I think they have working there, told 15 different answers...and it still doesn't work. So frustrated with it. SO, just wondering what your 'fix' was??

Most of us are buying eBay gift cards on Target. You can get the 5% discount online - honestly I'm not sure about the store, I know in the past I have used my Target red card in the store to purchase Disney gift cards at a 5% discount but I haven't done that in a while since I have been doing it online as of late.

We then take our eBay gift cards to eBay and purchase Target gift cards. You can earn eBay bucks on eBay, as well as eBates, which add to the savings.

You can repeat this process to further your discounts.

Most of us can get 5% off when paying with gift cards if our red card is set as the default payment. Some of us won't buy target gift cards from resellers because it may increase the odds of target banning you from shopping online. I buy target gift cards at Kroger when they run 4x fuel points.

If you buy Disney gift cards with only your Target Red card, you will get 5% off online and in the store.

If you buy Disney gift cards with a combination of your Target Red card and Target gift cards in stores, you will only get 5% off the Red card portion.

If you buy Disney gift cards with a combination of your Target Red card and Target gift cards online, you may or may not get 5% off the order, depending on how you apply your gift cards. Most regulars here know how to use the Red card online to get the 5% off the balance, but add gift cards to pay for all or most of the total without losing the 5% discount.

As to eBay, that is a whole big discussion that isn't easily condensed, but there are additional savings opportunities there if you are interested enough to read back through this thread, at least a couple months.

Now that I am getting the extra bucks promos I have another question. I have a trip in May I will need another $1000 for in Disney gift cards. I have a really big trip next March that I need between $2000 and $3000 for. Right now I have $1600 in Target gc in transit from churning over the past 5 days. I did take advantage of today's 4x because I do need some funds for May. When my Target cards arrive should I buy $1600 in ebay gc to have ready for the next 4x/5x or should I keep some in Target? Is $1600 too much to purchase during one extra bucks offer? To be clear, I can afford to risk these funds if the policies change, just want to make sure I'm not missing something.I have only spent $200 of my $5000 ebay limit on paying with gift cards.

Thanks! Can you explain what you mean by a reseller? Is eBay considered a reseller or just sites like Raise?

You don't need to read all 600 pages but I suggest going back to around page 470 and reading forward from there. The most recent and up-to-date info can be found that way. It is way too complicated to just write it up in a single post.
