I'm up for either. Thinking of doing it on the day I finish my certification so will be in casual business dress unless I change.
I've always wanted to try V&A, but dh refuses to wear a jacket and tie to dinner. If I had the money to splurge, that's where I'd like. I love getting dressed up, dh hates it since he had to wear a tie all through his schooling and to work all these years. It's a 5 diamond dining experience.
Years ago I went with some DIS friends to Narcoosee's. It's a signature dining experience. We wore skirts or dress pants, but there were many people there in shorts and normal park attire. The food was really good, and we were lucky enough to score window seats so we got to see the boats going to and from the MK. It was a nice and relaxing meal.
I have never eaten here, but I hear the steaks at the Yachtsman Steakhouse are very good. I can't get past the hanging racks of meat though.
If you can score an ADR for dinner at Be Our Guest, that's a great new place to eat. I loved the sauteed shrimp and scallops! Can't wait to go back!
I have to say, we really don't eat dinner at WDW very often. We tend to go at lunch time when the menu is less expensive, and eat counter service at dinner time.
I love the Coral Reef, but I'm so afraid to recommend it because so many people seem to have bad experiences here. They took my favorite item off the menu, the Potato Vegetable Struedel. I ended up trying the Seared Chicken Breast and it was very good! Suprisingly good. Their dessert menu changed too. The Blood Orange Cheesecake was to die for. We dinner there the evening after Thanksgiving. Here are the food pics.
My MIL and I split the Seared Chicken. Here's my half.
For dessert we got the Lava Chocolate Cake with gelato and the Blood Orange Cheesecake. JJ got the kids brownie with icecream.
Love the Nemo detail on the white chocolate
