May 1st, 2013 (Part 2) - Our Walk-Up Breakfast at CRT and Starlit Splash!
Our second visitor was Ariel!
Then Jasmine stopped by! She had so much energy! She was like we look like we could be sisters, dont we?! LIFE MADE.
Then Snow White was last!
For our meals, Mark and I both got the apple stuffed French toast! It was absolutely DELICIOUS! I had been wanting this dish for so long and Im glad I finally had it.
We finished up our wonderful breakfast and then headed out to play in the Magic Kingdom.
I had to take a few pictures of the restaurant's exterior:
The princess herself:
There was NOBODY there. I couldnt get over it! The weather was weird, which may have contributed to it. It was overcast, muggy, and in the high 70s. It had a strange feel to it but I liked it!
The first thing we did was wander over to Peter Pans flight where there was only a 10 minute wait! We just had to ride!
Then we went to Frontierland and hopped in the short line to meet Chip N Dale in their cowboy outfits! I have never met them there so I'm glad I finally did. I am SUPER in love with the pictures.
Hoedown was going down in the background and it was like a Frontierland flash mob. I LOVED IT. I want to go watch that sometime and dance along!
Then we did a TRIPLE MOUNTAIN WHAMMY and we rode Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Space Mountain all in a row!
After that our early morning was really catching up to us. So we decided to head back to the apartment to relax.
On our way out we stopped and chatted with one of the citizens of Main Street. She remembered Mark and I from when her friend Victoria asked me to sing on Long Lost Friend's day.
I did all of my laundry which was a HUGE accomplishment. I washed my sheets too so I could get that sickness completely out of my life.
Then once my laundry was all folded I took a nice hour and a half nap. When I got up, I got ready and headed over to Marks apartment!
We waited for Sergio and then we went over to pick Lauren up! We were headed to Typhoon Lagoon for Starlit Splash! It was a CP event where they opened Typhoon Lagoon to all of the CP's from 7 pm 12 am. Literally this was one of the MOST FUN NIGHTS of my entire life!!!
It was raining but we decided to go anyway because, you know, it was at a water park. We would be wet either way.
We got to the park, got free t-shirts, put our stuff in a locker, and then we headed on some slides! We did mayday falls and gangplank falls first!
Then after that we wandered around until we found THE FOOD. Expect nothing less from Disney THEY HAD FREE MICKEY BARS AT OUR EVENT. Yeah.
We were over by Shark Reef we saw that it was actually open! We couldnt believe it! Even though everyone (except me) was scared about swimming with the sharks, we did it anyway and it was SO COOL. It was scary going at night, though! Its so dark in there! The best part was that it didn't even feel all that cold because the air wasn't that warm to begin with!
Once we finished, we saw that the buffet was open! So we got in line and I grabbed a bag of Doritos to snack on while we waited. The line was LONG. However, it thankfully went very fast.
I ended up having some carrots and blue cheese, chicken nuggets, and a pulled pork sandwich! And then I had one of the orange ice cream bars for my second dessert. Necessary.
After that we made our way over to the wave pool. The air was so cold but the wave pool was heated and it was THE MOST FUN I HAVE EVER HAD. Oh my God. We just stayed in there for hours. I was looking up and it was raining so I could see the rain drops coming down on us. For some reason that view just made me really happy. It was so simple but it was so pretty.
The waves were FUN. After all of these years of coming to Typhoon I FINALLY stayed in the wave pool for a good long while and I had a BLAST. You just need good people to go with and the wave pool is so much more enjoyable.
After a while, we got evacuated for an aquatic emergency because a girl injured herself. No one is really sure what happened but it was pretty scary! The eventually opened the wave pool back up later.
We just kind of hung out for a while on the sides and I was dancing to all of the songs. There were pirates walking around which was kind of awesome. Then they had a little fireworks display for us! IT WAS SO COOL!!! Seriously, Disney knows how to do events right.
After that, Lauren and I went to get our phones so we could take a few pictures.
THE PARK IS ALL OURS.
Lauren wanted to swim with the sharks one more time so I stood on the sidelines and took pictures:
We took our last few pictures by the wave pool:
Then around 11:30 pm we headed out of the park! We dropped Lauren off at Pop because her Mom and her are staying there... and it made me SO EXCITED for my trip with Lia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We went back to the apartment, I took a nice warm shower, and then it was time for bed!
