"DH and I both had the filet..."
"Le Cellier" Mushroom Filet Mignon
8-oz "AAA" Canadian Beef Tenderloin with Wild Mushroom Risotto, Pickled Pearl Onions and White Truffle-Butter Sauce
"This has changed with the addition of the pickled onions, which neither of us loved. The filet was good but nowhere near Jiko. Still, in our opinion, the best "in park" meal."
"DD had the Kid's steak..."
Grilled Sirloin with Brown Rice and Green Beans
"She said the flavor was good, but Jiko was better. And the rice was bland and boring."
"DS had the Kid's Salmon..."

I had a nice surprise today when I received this text from a reporter who I thought was not arriving until Wednesday.
She said, "Forgot to tell you I added 2 days! I flew out this morning first thing. It's just me until Wednesday. After adding 2 days to our trip, DH's boss scheduled a mandatory meeting. Oh well, guess I will start without him."

One last update, this one from a new reporter who arrived today, JeannieKY.
She said, "The best laid plans... We have moved to the All Star Sports resort after a late arrival due to storms. I did not want to stay in Country Fair [at All Star Music] and nothing else was open. So Touchdown it is and they promise our bags will make it here!"
"Dinner is quick service in...
End Zone Food Court
"I had the Penne Alfredo substituting marinara sauce for the Alfredo. It comes with a breadstick and a salad. It is a lot of food and very good. Tastes fresh! DD16 Allison stole my salad. It comes with a light Italian dressing, very good. She let me have a bite! She had the cheese pizza, standard at all of the Value resorts. For dessert, I had the Banana bread and she got a brownie. We were both happier with our picks than the taste of each other's! We got all of our food and mugs in under 10 minutes despite the crowd and the staff was friendly. Warning, the large tour groups are at the All Stars but seemed worse at the Music. Magic Kingdom tomorrow!"

Everything looks as delicious as always! Now I want that parmesan crusted chicken dinner that they serve at the values for lunch today. It's impossible to diet and be an active reader of this thread!

I love that parmesan chicken.
Had it in April at Pop and it's one of the things they got ride of when they did the awful new update to Pop's menu in May.

"Tuna salad with croissant, apple slices and chocolate cake for Allison. Turkey sandwich with chips and a fruit cup for me. There was a storm and we'd never eaten here, so...it is ok. Columbia Harbour House and Pecos Bill's are better for hot food, but the seating is good in here and it is cool."
"Player piano starts every few minutes."
And then Jeannie also sent this Magic Kingdom snack update from...
"Dole Pineapple Float and Orange Soft Serve. Orange and Vanilla Swirl is my favorite but the machine was down. Allison didn't like the pineapple part of her float. So a disappointing trip to my "go to" snack place in Magic Kingdom."

"Corey is an ultimate cheapie and got bread for $.69 and got free peanut butter and jelly."
"I had the Tandoori Chicken...
"The chicken was good but one piece was a little fatty. Paneer cheese good."
