Great, because I see you can order a couple of items from Artist Point, and who doesn't enjoy a nice adult beverage while on vacation to go along with it!!!

Awesome info about the ADR bus!!! "Confession Time" I actually thought the ADR bus was only for Character Meals...............Duh!!!!

We will be at WL for Mardi Gras as well! Traveling from Louisiana as I see you are :)

I was able to do online checkin for our upcoming stay of 3/2 - 3/8 but as far as room requests it would only let me request floors. How do I go about putting in a special request for otter pond view towards MK?

Thanks in advance :cool1:
You have to call resort reservations and tell them your room request. They can add it so that the room assigners can see it. :)

We have decided to take advantage of the spring discount and upgrade from our usual moderate resort to the Wilderness Lodge. Currently we have a standard room booked but was wondering if it would be worth it (just $80 more total) to go with a woods view?

I'm a big fan of the woods view rooms. Many of the WV rooms in the north wing have at least a partial view of the fireworks. We could see the castle from our 6th floor room along with the fireworks. There is more information about the different room view categories on post #5 on the first page of this thread. Here is a link to it.

:)

Great to hear about the FP+. Our niece and her family were there in November and really liked the MB and FP+. I was glad to hear that after some of the posts I've been reading. I was hoping we could make our choices each day once we decided on the park. It's so great to be able to bounce things off other people. I'm one of those who have few friends that understand my love for this place!

Thanks! I made the switch to woods view. Our last stay at the WL was in 1997 or 98 and we had a standard view and I remember hearing the beep, beep from trucks backing up at the loading dock at night.

We actually like the loading dock view because we can see wishes.

The early morning beep, beep of the delivery trucks never bother us because we are early risers.

I don't ever recall night time beeps because delivery trucks don't typically deliver at night.

I am an early riser too but I remember it being really early, like 3 or 4am. That wouldn't go over well with my daughter. Of course that was over 16 years ago so maybe they have changed the time of deliveries. I do remember being able to watch the fireworks from our balcony though.

We are leaving in about 3 weeks and haven't heard from the IPO.
So I attempted to send an e-mail introducing ourselves. I used the e-mail address on page one.
It bounced back to me as undeliverable.
Any suggestions???:confused3

We were there in November and it was about 6:30 when I heard a truck..only for about a few seconds..it didn't really bother me..I went right back to sleep

That's what I used too, but it bounced back......
Is there a www or an http:// ?????
Can't figure out what went wrong, but I'll try again......thank-you!!!
It's an email address not a URL so there isn't a prefix. You should be able to just click on the email address and it will open your email and automatically input the address: Wilderness.Lodge.Itinerary.Planning@disneyworld.com

Sometimes CL reservations, depending on when booked, don't always trigger the IPO's system and the guest may get overlooked or contacted late. They will usually send an email out to you just prior to the 180-day, 90-day and 30-day points, give or take. depending on how far out you booked. They will send the email to the email address you used when booking. You can also call them:
Phone: (407) 934-5348
Fax: (407) 824-3174

This is the email you should have received:

You can actually order about 6 of the AP entrees, plus the TL menu has about 4-6 apps on it, (though I think some come from WC, like the nachos perhaps). We loved ordering the AP entrees at TL because it was a casual atmosphere and we didn't need an ADR.

popcorn:::surfweb: Is this encouraging???

:teeth:
Your new FW Info. thread is encouraging;). Everyone check it out - the hyperlink is in Heather's signature.

I would pay the difference, too, unless I knew I could be in a SV room in the South Wing where it's quieter. IDK how long you're staying, but when divided out it's only probably about $10 a day more? Whatever the cost per day, just look at what you'd do instead with the money. If you value that more, then keep your booking as is.

I think upgrading also depends on how quiet a location you want. The SV rooms in the South Wing are actually some of the quietest room locations at WL. You're as far as you can get from Bay Lake/EWP, the pool and Wishes, and you don't have the loading dock/Smokehouse below you.
