Also forgot to mention that the GC do not expire so it looks like we can use any extra for the next trip. I loved how willing the Disney guy was to talk with me and answer all of my questions. He's the one that suggested upgrading the tickets to an AP, so that was pretty cool.

It's all just as I hoped it would be. I didn't think they would have separate gift cards for DTD, the spa, and the photopass. I was hoping it would be a Disney giftcard. So awesome! Now if I can just save a bit of the GC money for our next trip then we'd be good.

You should definitely upgrade to an AP if you think you'll use it. We have them and because of them we go to WDW more often. We're going tomorrow just for the weekend since we don't have to worry about the price of the tickets. You can always find places to stay for cheaper if you don't want to spend the money to stay on Disney property. There are lots of options.

Yeah we're about a 9 hour drive (with the baby and toilet trained 3 year old we'd be looking at 11 hours) so we can't go that often. Although I wish we could! I think it will depend on if we choose to go this year or for the baby's 1st birthday. I'm leaning towards a 1st birthday trip since DD got to celebrate her 1st at WDW!

I'm hoping we'll have a good chunk of money left over, but we'll see. I am SO excited about this trip especially as the details start unfolding!

I bet it has distracted you a bit for sure! What a great distraction to have during those last weeks of pregnancy though. All I could focus on was my fat ankles and how huge stomach was. Both my girls were over 9 lbs

Waiting to get my kids off the bus yesterday, the Fed Ex van drove past my house and stopped at my neighbors! My heart skipped when it was slowing down. I spied and the neighbors got a box, so I'm pretty sure they didn't win my trip.

I'm happy for all those who have won here on the DIS...

I'm really starting to suspect that I'm not going to win one of these trips

Yeah, same here. I do not even jump up anymore when I hear a truck or van enter my courtyard.

I am getting very discouraged that no Canadians have won at all!!! I keep entering every day but really feel like they won't pick a Canadian to win

Oh I feel for you! I keep hoping that the luck of this board will make me a winner too, but then think probably not because they always say if you know someone who won the lottery you probably wont yourself! I "know" 12!
DH and I still enter faithfully since Jan 1 and I still run to my phone every ring and listen for every truck! I check our emails and spam boxes at least twice an hour. Maybe when this contest is over I will get a life again!

So I just discovered the contest, and entered yesterday and today in the morning. Don't worry, to the people who have been entering the contest since it started, I NEVER win contests. Well, that isn't true, I won one last October to see a sneak peek of the new season of Psych with the cast and 250 other people, so I figure that was all my luck for the next 20 years.

ANYWAY. Do they draw once a week, or every day? Do they notify once a week or once a day?

We aren't quite sure but the official rules say they draw once per week usually on Wednesday. The winners have been notified on various days, and in different ways. Check your spam box if you entered online or you may just get a fedex. If you enter by text, they will call you from a 212 number or text you.
