Ugh, this may be a bit OT, but I consider it budget related. Last night I get a phone call from Blockbuster saying that I have a movie past due. No surprise, I haven't yet returned 101 Dalmatians. So I listen to the message to make sure that it was the only one due back since I had a few titles out. Well it says 101 Dalmatians and Indiana Jones.
Hmmm, that's strange, I returned that one last week. So I get in the car and drive to Blockbuster(this is a separate trip since if I hadn't heard IJ on the message I would have dropped the movie off before class tonight).
Well sure enough the guy behind the counter says I still had IJ out. I said no, I returned it. So he goes to look on the shelf. Nope not there.
So I talk to the manager, she asks me to call home and make sure it isn't there, check the car, etc. I know why they do this. I used to work for BB. It is just frustrating that I had to waste a car trip because some guy couldn't handle scanning a movie after I handed it across the counter.
We don't have this movie. I personally handed it across the counter over a week ago. Now it is MIA, and they think I have it here at home
So this has wasted gas, my time, and later down the line I may actually get charged for this movie....none of which was in my budget.
