I personally think that Lauren's ability at performing has improved incredibly. That is one of the things that has annoyed me this season on AI - everybody tends to be a torch singer who plants themselves, behind a stand or not, and does not work the stage. Kree has a little, and I have noticed Angie moving a little more, but performance is almost more important then voice sometimes. These girls want to tour, and if you don't put on a good show, you don't make any money. I think all of them need more seasoning and would love to see then perform again after the tour.

I admit that I am happy with the final two, but then again, I tend to listen to their kind of music more then Angie's. out of the three, Angie may have the most potential in the long run, but the other two have years more experience at this time. Angie has grown a lot over the last 10 weeks, and it will be interesting to see where her career takes her. I really don't think she needs the AI win as much as the other two do to get a career going.

This is my thing with Angie, she doesn't connect with me with song or emotionally. You don't have to do big theatrics with the eyes and hands to be a good singer. She truly reminds me of someone on Broadway. She needs to work on her vocals because she isn't in the same league as Candice and Kree. Sure she might be a good songwriter but you got to have more sometimes in this industry, especially if she wants to pursue something other then pop. There's just something about her that doesn't come off well with me and I just can't 100% pinpoint it.

This just goes to show how everyone has a different opinion. I personally loved Angie and was hoping she'd make it to the final. I think she's really talented and would definitely buy her music.

While I think Kree is really good, I still don't "get" her. I've never connected with her at all and wouldn't buy anything she put out.

I was really hoping for an Angie and Candace finale, but I still think all three girls are talented and will go far. Next week all my votes will go to Candace, just because in my opinion I think she's better vocally than Kree is.

Yeah, I just don't think he would of been a good fit on the panel. He's great guitar player and sweet as pie but I just can't get into most of his music and he's kind of a jokester....though if he played a prank on nicki..

I really didn't care for Kree at first until I got hit by her personal image consultant, the sweet MANDY . She had me check her out on YouTube and told me her story. Little by little she grew on me and now I'm a fan. I try to listen to people (I watch the show with my back to it, sort of like the Voice) and I like hearing a "bottom" to a tone. She has that! Amber's voice went thru me like a knife, my ears couldn't take her pitchiness. Angie's voice is pleasant but for some reason, doesn't touch me.

I agree with this. Kree definitely grew on me this season but Mandy was on board from the beginning telling us all to check her out. I don't know any musical terms but I like your reference to singers who have a bottom to their tone. I'm thinking this is what is missing when I think singers are sharp or tinny.

Whatever, I really never cared much for Angie's singing. I didn't dislike her or her performances but something was missing. My daughter always felt like there was something fake about her.

American Idol judges, Keith Urban and Mariah Carey, will be pre-taping performances for this week’s Idol finale.
Keith is pre-taping on Tuesday (Most likely he will perform the new single he’s been teasing, scheduled to be released this week.) Mariah is set to pre-tape a medley of her biggest hits on Wednesday.
This, according to an email from the company that handles seating for television audiences.
The American Idol finale is set for Thursday May 16 at The Nokia in Los Angeles. Keith and Mariah will, of course, be pre-taping there.
Ex-judge, Jennifer Lopez, is also set to perform. Adam Lambert will perform a duet with 3rd place finisher, Angie Miller. The Band Perry will sing with 5th placer, Janelle Arthur and Frankie Valli will perform with the Top 10 boys.
