    Throw away reservations

When I called to make my week long reservation the agent asked me if I wanted to book a few more days on either end of the week so that I could be more flexible. It had never occurred to me to do that. I didn't take him up on the offer.

Can You Use a PIN on a Gift Vacation?

We own a restaurant and want to reward our very hard working General Manager by sending him & his family to WDW. We want to pay for everything (room, flights, meals). I happened to receive a PIN in an email and it says non-transferable. We will be paying for the trip but not actually going...

    Williamsburg Campground Recommendation

Another vote for American Heritage. We stayed there last Spring Break and went to Busch Gardens. We're staying there again this year for Busch Gardens, Colonial Williamsburg, and Jamestown.

    Walk of Shame - Shameful?

Thanks, everyone! I feel much more at ease about it and am looking forward to seeing some new things. :thumbsup2

Hidden Mickey - Which One Are You Most Proud of Finding?

I made the picture a little bigger. You can see that at least one ear looks like it is painted on.

    Walk of Shame - Shameful?

 As long as it's a normal elevator I won't have a problem!

    Walk of Shame - Shameful?

I don't like drops - I don't ride roller coasters or log flumes, etc. I've been to WDW several times and have always "held everyone's stuff" while they went on Tower of Terror, Space Mountain... Now I'm reading that the theming of the lines is pretty neat and that there's always an exit before...

    Birthday Cake?!?!?!

We've used box ovens in Girl Scouts to bake cakes. My personal suggestion: use a strong flavor like a pineapple upside down cake. The flavor of charcoal can be absorbed by the cake.

    Our first RV-have no clue!

Don't discount Super C's. The space above our cab is the entertainment center and cabinets. I can't imagine we'd have that much more room in a Class A. We have two slides, which nearly doubles our living space when parked.

    Bingo!bingo!bingo!

We played – it was entertaining enough for my family of five with two cards. (three little kids) We were one of four winners for the final jackpot (our share was $30). They also have a raffle. We won a Stingray Adventure for two on Castaway Cay. We only did it one night. It fit in nicely...

Questions about traveling with 1yr old

I think a key to your overall enjoyment would be to be aware that your child might not enjoy being in Flounders and be prepared for the possibility of being paged. I put my 26 month old DS in Flounders three times and was paged to pick him up early twice. Once was at the end of a dinner and...

    Religious services?

Ash Wednesday isn’t a Holy Day of Obligation in the Roman Catholic Church. Don’t know if that helps you feel a little better about not being able to attend Mass. (If you’re Catholic!)

2-8-07 or How the DIS created a DCL Expert/Addict:Chap 23 Up! TR Done!

We were one the same cruise as you. I recognized you and your girls as soon as I saw you at the Port from the pictures you had posted. We were also on the same dining rotation as you, so I spotted you quite frequently throughout the trip. Your family looked like they were having a great time...

    Snoring Spouse

My friend’s husband died in his early 40’s (a year ago this month) from undiagnosed sleep apnea. He stopped breathing during the night and never started back up again. :sad1:

    Document & On-Line Checkin Questions

They must have changed the wording so as not to be misleading. I was doing my online check-in on 1/31/07 and it now states “If you are a citizen of the United States or Canada who is traveling with only a birth certificate as proof of citizenship, please do not fill out any information below...

Victim of system glitch - how far would you take it?

Computers and computer operators make mistakes. It’s probably a good idea to double check the accuracy of your data from time to time. A TA made our reservations and used my son’s nickname instead of the one that’s on his birth certificate. I noticed a blurb that the name on Disney’s records...

Getting to DCL Transfer From Nick Hotel

I have reservations at the MCO Hyatt for the night before our cruise, but we’re now considering the Nick Hotel as a surprise for the kids. I’ve already booked DCL transfers to the port. What would be the best way to pick up the DCL bus on the morning of the cruise? Go back to the airport...

How Many Cruisers Can a Cruiser Hold?

How many guests, not including cruise personnel, does the Disney Wonder hold? :confused3 Just curious.
