Pop - do I need accessible room for scooter?

I have used a scooter two times at Pop. One king room and one queen room. No problems with the scooter inside the room. We park it over to the side and have room to get around/ recharge it.

    First Time Scooter User Questions

I know most of your questions have been answered here but I just wanted to say something about Scooterbug rentals. I rented one of their scooters just two weeks ago. It took about 3 minutes by phone to arrange. They were very helpful. This was my first time renting an ECV. They delivered the...

AP w/ May reservations in need of rebooking-free dining

I am an AP holder and have a reservation for May 11 to May 16th. When all this Covid hit they cancelled many reservations and some were told to hang on with their reservations for now. I was told by a CM to hang on to mine as the free dining offer did not apply to my dates at that time (also...

Room Only + Tickets vs. Package

I stand corrected. I am an old time Disney guy and I was thinking the old system. Yes you can get less days than the package time. Forgive me. I have been using room only since completing my first stay in 2002. I found it to be cheaper to do room only then and continue to do this. I forgot that...

    Disney Springs Area Resorts

All have a reasonable walk. 14 to 15 minutes top to the farthest one. It is a safe area and the walk is pleasant.

Lodging recommendations b/w Valdosta, GA and Gainesville?

Honestly I have to say that there is not a great choice between Valdosta and Gainesville. Liek a previous post mentioned Ocala is a great bet if you could make it that far. There is a Sleep Inn there in Ocala right off the interstate that is wonderful. It has a breakfast in the morning to get...

    Disney springs hotel

We have done one night stay overs at the Best Western and have never had a bad stay in over 6 trips. It is convenient, within walking distance though not as close as others, and the staff are very friendly. About the only thing I do not like is the resort fee but almost all of them charge this...

Room Only + Tickets vs. Package

Quickly as a difference... there are restrictions when the final payment is due on packages. Packages also tend to include extras that you may not need or want. When you do a room only and buy your tickets from a discount ticket seller like Undercovertourist, you can often purchase the ticket...

I just can't get excited about our resort choice. . .

You made the right decision. We are form Georgia and whole theme to POR seemed too familiar. We stayed there once and had an okay stay but not the best. We decided that we would only return there if the price was undeniable. CSR is a great choice for your situation.

magic band question - room only reservation

Yes they will will load whatever ticket media you have to your active bands. I also usually decline new bands as we have had several. I learned that you can take old bands to WDW on you next trip and turn them in so that they can recycle them.

    All star music?

It is great. Busy with many tour groups but not annoyingly so. Food court is good. Rooms are clean though a bit small. The room size is ample enough. Look for deals as they run them often, though November may be a bit of a fetch to get a deal for. The bus service is good. The resort is well...

    March or May Deals &Crowds?

May is absolutely your best bet. Especially week days. I have some photos of MK during May where I shot the pic from just below Pirates of the Caribbean up towards Swiss Family Tree House. You can see exactly 2 people in the shot in all that space. Wait times that day were like 15 minutes and...

Talk to me about All stars Movies

It is busy. Lots of tour groups and church groups. This is not a problem really just expect that. The rooms are small but ample in size. The theme is great especially if you have little kids. The food court is very good and has lots of choices. It is also very busy. The business of the place...

    Old key west

We stayed here with my brother in law and family about two years ago. We usually stay around the corner at POFQ. We loved OKW. It is different in theme and in services available. It has no food court but does have an on site restaurant that we did not try bit I would love to eat there. The store...

Can you buy tix at the guest service location in Disney Springs

I need to buy 5 one day tickets for MK and since the gate price was about the best price I could get anywhere I figured that I would just buy them at Disney Springs when we got there. That is our first days plan to hit Disney Springs anyway. I just wanted to make sure that I could purchase them...

Staying on property v. off property

I would suggest for the age of your kid to stay on site. I have done both and done both multiple times. I know the savings that can be had when staying off site. I also know that you are so immersed while on site that it make a difference in the experience. Off site, while saving some cash, has...
