    Is WDW good value?

I think it is. You're paying for the atmosphere and the plethora of options at any given time. You can go to an all inclusive resort but will it have fifty different dining options? You can spend a day at an amusement park but unless you're a roller coaster junkie it's really all the same...

    Date night... with an infant??

Op here... Thanks for all the replies!! On my phone now so I have to be brief, but a couple of things - baby has super separation anxiety so I don't think traumatizing her or the sitter would be in good form. ;). The big two love their club time, tho. Two - I didn't know you could sit away...

    Date night... with an infant??

On previous trips DH and I have always had a date night, where we send the two (big) kids to one of the clubs and have an evening out. Well... we still want to do that, but now we're going to have our new 7 month old along too. She's generally good in restaurants. I've had to leave someplace...

Most important stuff to know about Coronado Springs????

My hands-down favorite resort. I love the fountain area, whatever that's called... It's far from the pool but close to the main lobby area. I love the theming. It's all very relaxing, and I make a point of dragging the family along to eat at the restaurant there even when we're staying at a...

Official Poly construction update thread **updated video page 103(2/17/15)**

So with that said... SHOULD we try to change our reservations? I don't even know if we could, at this late date for the length of stay we want. And I definitely wanted to be on a monorail resort because of having an infant... :worried:

$200 Budgeted for Table Service Meals...Help us Spend it Wisely

If you want to experience the ambiance instead of eating a big meal, you could probably stretch it to 3, maaaaaaybe even four meals... if you got apps instead of main courses, for example? I'm not sure you'd want to do that many TS restaurants with a 1 year old, but if there are more than 2...

Epcot Arrival Night Meal - Where to Eat?

I'll vote for Garden Grill. If you venture too far into the World Showcase with everyone tired and hungry from the trip, the effect is going to be spoiled if you're just rushing to the restaurant. I'd stick with Garden Grill, then take a walk around the lake after for desserts.

Official Poly construction update thread **updated video page 103(2/17/15)**

I phone the resort yesterday after hearing about the construction. We will be there from the 8th to the 17th and since this is a big splurge (we've never done a deluxe before, and likely won't again since we now have three kids etc.) we were very concerned. The lady said that the construction...

Does anyone else get asked why you would bring a toddler or younger to DW?

Most people think of Disney as a once-in-a-lifetime trip. By that logic, it would make sense to go when a child is old enough to have fond memories of it. They don't typically assume said child will go back year after year after year. :) Plus it does cost a lot. And it's hard to get to...

    Spinoff: Sling Rules?

I read on another thread that for Dumbo, a baby that is being worn has to be in a forward-facing position... What's the deal with that, exactly? Is there an official policy (not just on Dumbo, but on all rides)? I have a baby who practically lives in her baby carrier. Typically she's on my...
