Good point. We've been using FD in the last week of August for the past couple of years, so now we're just waiting with baited-breath for the arrival dates that qualify for FD.....if FD is offered, that is.

My point was that it at least gives hope to the people who thought that there would be no FD if it was not announced in April.

So it seems that it is not uncommon for Disney to release FD for late summer/ early fall in May...that's good to remember. :)

I really want to believe this, but I just don't know. FD is hopefully coming, but there are so many conflicting sources. On a side note, the author of this thread said that the cast member told them that FD makes their job harder. How so?

That is odd, especially considering that the bounceback offer included the last 2 weeks of August. We've been going in the last week of August for FD since 2009, so it would seem odd for Disney to shave that week off of the deal all of a sudden.

All the signs point to free dining for the late summer/early fall period, I think. I just can't stand the waiting!
