    Southwest prices are crazy!

Pretty straight-forward. It’s an on-site rental car center and around 90 minutes door to door....depending on traffic. We came in mid day and there was even time to stop by Cigar City brewery on the way out of town!! Another plus!

    Southwest prices are crazy!

We flew into Tampa last year and saved 200/pp. Might be worth it even including shuttle or 1way car rental ?

    UBER to AK

As you enter the park it’s on your right.....past the tram drop off. We Uber(ed) from AK to YC for about 9 bucks at peak time.

How early are you getting room ready texts lately?

We were pleasantly surprised when we got a text at 1145 for our POFQ Room. It was a busy rundisney weekend on top of that!

D23 EXPO THREAD - See you in 2019!

Yeah, the line management is not up to normal Disney standards. BUT, it's better than day one for sure. Heading into Marc Davis session now. Early!?! Love it. Good luck to power of the princess attendees!

Article: Did Pixar's Monsters University deserve its Oscars snub?

Am a huge Pixar fan...but Monsters U was a "second tier" Pixar effort. Frozen was superior in story, production, and music. (My opinion!) Seems right to me for this year.

    Camera confusion

The olympus 45/1.8 is reasonably priced and is a nice portrait length for any lowlight work in the parks. Olympus also makes an excellent 17/1.8 for a bit wider perspective. Personally use primes for low light.....but there are a few nice (and pricey) zooms in the 12-35/40 range as well.

    Primes at the parks

Excited to be able to add a short trip to WDW next month (gotta love those pin codes!). I'm bringing my m4/3 gear: EP3 Oly 12-50 kit Oly 45/1.8 Oly 12/2 My question to the photo experts here: What percent of the time do you default to using the walk-around lens and how do you best utilize...

Looking for best compact camera for Disney

I made the switch to micro 4/3 a few years ago and haven't looked back. You can small (Panny GM1, Oly Epm1 or Epm2) or a tad bigger and more of the "rangefinder" style. Agree with posters above that there are good, cheap pre-owned lenses...especially primes that get great dark ride...

Calling someone "Dr." outside of medical setting

Being in healthcare for the last 30 years this topic has really changed. From the time that nurses used to stand up and offer the doctor the chair to now...... Respect is a given and should be reciprocated. The title issue really seems to be a matter of generation and of personal preference...

Best option to parks when staying at Hyatt?

Thanks. Hadn't thought of that option. Is there reasonable parking at the airport if we keep the car overnight?

    2 Primes and a Crop?

I can carry my Olympus EPM1, 12mm and 45mm in a cargo pocket and use a small wrist strap when shooting. Both panasonic and oly have very small, great viewfinders that you can add when bright outside or leave on all the time.
