I love the Yacht Club. It is my favorite resort at Disney. I also really enjoy Beach Club. We are happy at both resorts, but enjoy the quiet atmosphere in the lobby at YC.

We usually stay at the YC, but on the one occasion that we stayed at BC, we walked over to YC to catch the bus. It is a relatively short walk and almost always uncrowded. The buses can carry 2 scooters at a time.

I stayed at POR once, and the buses took some getting used to. I timed the trip, and it took eleven minutes to go to each bus stop within the resort. That really adds up when you have to depend on buses. I did think that the POR Riverside grounds are beautiful, though!

I've stayed at both and greatly prefer Yacht Club. The bus picks up and drops off first, it is so quiet and relaxing at night after a long day in the park, and the entrance to Stormalong Bay is a little closer. YC is a family favorite and it feels like home.
