I'm confused. My guide told us that the rooms for DVC folks at the other resorts (I expressly asked about Poly, GF, Contemp, YB) were NOT the standard rooms, but also not the concierge, but somewhere in the middle. So was my guide incorrect? Why didn't they tell me it's "standard" only?

Our guide specifically told us occupancy was 4, but they would allow 1 over. So there doesn't seem to be a really a hard and fast "rule" on 4 in the room.

They also have suits with an actual bra-size.

I was also really bothered by the pool-hopping problem and this one, too. I for one don't have a lot of money or time to vacation, so when I go, I DO expect perfection. If I want to be irritated or insulted or humiliated, I can stay home and get it for free at work, in the stores on the roads...

I was wondering if AP discounts are usually for resorts undergoing renovation. We've noticed good prices for several resorts that were under re-construction or the pool was closed or some other MAJOR inconvenience. Are the discounts ever for resorts without any "issues"?

Does anyone know if part time employees of the Disney Store get discounts on rooms or merchandise at WDW? If so, how much and when/where. I'm thinking about taking a part time (10-25 hours/week) job and if there are good perks, I'l LOVE to work for DISNEY!

Can anyone tell me if there are convenient ice machines at the resort properties or do you have to make ice in the room?

We were there in Feb. I only remember free refills if you bought the $8.00 mug. Then refills in that mug were free for your entire stay in.

Roaring Forks is a self serve type of restaurant. They have some breakfast items, sandwiches, burgers/fries/chicken/pizza. You can get individual bottles of OJ, milk and some packaged items. We liked the food there. Just DON'T get the "All you can eat" smoked meats dinner at Whispering...
