Wonder versus Harmony family with teens

I came here to check the replies and then did some investigating. While I have never been on either one , after watching the videos from this guy on both ships, I think we will be going with the Wonder for their offerings for teens. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/wonder-of-the-seas

Anyone Dis lovers doing the keto diet and dining at WDW?

Oh My! I think part of the problem is they don't want to understand, the other is that the Dr is always right and if you don't have a degree you know nothing . While my husband was at scout camp with my son, one of the men got to talking with him and found out his (then ) recent diagnosis. He...

Anyone Dis lovers doing the keto diet and dining at WDW?

The thing that gets me the most is, looking at what is recommended for a "Diabetic" menu and seeing it was way over the carb sugars that anyone with diabetes should have. I also hate that with more people being diabetic than people having a gluten intolerance, there are so few offerings for...

    Yet another packing question

I actually bought a scale back many years ago because I over packed for our 2 week Hawaii honeymoon. The people at the desk were nice enough to let me play switch the stuff but I was a little (a lot) embarrassed. We do not fly often because I hate it so I haven't needed it but I certainly will...

    Yet another packing question

Those look nice. I actually just ordered 1 set off of Amazon it was this brand. I didn't think to look at the dollar store. I may run up later when the kids go to karate. We have a trip to TN for the eclipse coming up and I figured this would be a great way to try them out. I actually made a...

    Yet another packing question

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! You just gave me the visual I needed. I was having a hard time figuring out how many things would fit in each cube. I think, with the cubes, we might actually be able to pack in our 4 carry on's with maybe one bag of incidentals.

    Yet another packing question

So it sounds like the packing cubes are the way to go. Could those of you that use them share the dimensions and about how many of what goes in each cube/size? I don't want to over/ under purchase. I would LOVE to be able to fit everything in a carry on per person if I could. We will be using...

    Yet another packing question

I would love to post a picture for you but I am not tech savvy and can't seem to figure out how to do it from my phone without the file being too big.

    Yet another packing question

My DH used to laugh at my rolling techniques also until he watched me pack for a 7 day FL trip for 4 of us in a Prius . It's anywhere from 14-18 hr drive for us depending on stops Everyone was comfortable, fed and had plenty of clothes.

    Yet another packing question

Thank you for your suggestion. It does seem to me that the trunk will be too big. If it was just a bit shorter I think putting it under the bed would be the answer so I may possibly look for something an inch or two shorter.

    Yet another packing question

Mine will be 11 and 9 at cruise time, one of each. They are still small enough that I can put their clothes in gallon bags and push the air all out. We don't do the princess dress stuff so that helps a lot with space. lol I'm intrigued by the packing cubes. Where did you get them? I'm always...

Anyone Dis lovers doing the keto diet and dining at WDW?

Yes he tests twice daily. For the most part he stays away from sweets, breads, pasta, corn, potatoes, rice. We usually only use sugar alcohols, occasionally a TBS of honey in a recipe that is divided between the 4 of us. We have found that coconut sugar doesn't give him a spike so I do use that...

    Yet another packing question

Thank you. That helps a lot. That was my only concern, the what if it's 22 inch wide in the closet or the bed is about 1/2 an inch too short. 4 people in a tiny space will be hard enough. I may be buying some hard sided suitcases.

    Looking for something new

Thank you everyone for your suggestions! All of this food talk is making me hungry. The Wave sounds interesting. I may need to add that one in. DH and I just read about Tiffin's and thought it looked intriguing . I have never heard of Homecoming I will check that out. Yak and Yeti has been on...

    Yet another packing question

I found it incredibly rude that she decided to reprimand me for making the bags too heavy ( even though I stated I knew the 50 lb rule) and asking me if I was sure my bags were less than 50 lbs (before I even packed them) and telling me that I needed to make sure my bags weren't going to mess up...

    Looking for something new

Good evening Dis people. We will be visiting the World in April and I am starting my search for some different restaurants . We are DVC members and have been many times. We have our favorites but I would like to look at some that we have never been to. The kids are 11 and 9 (at time of travel)...

    Yet another packing question

LOL I'd just be angry that things weren't in the correct order. I am OCD when we are on vacation. No one can touch anything unless I approve it because they will lose something I guarantee it.

Anyone Dis lovers doing the keto diet and dining at WDW?

Interesting that you should post this. My husband was diagnosed diabetic last summer. No one really gave us a hard fast menu to work from so I went to the web and started learning for myself. We don't do Keto but we are Low Carb. Within 8 months his Dr actually asked him who gave him the...

    Yet another packing question

Nope we are driving. The 50lb weight limit is the cruise line restriction. I'm thinking (not sure so don't quote me) that the cruise terminals are treated just like an airport.

    Yet another packing question

Thank you! This was all that I had found also. I'm still trying to figure out the perfect combo for efficient travel (we drive a Prius) and durability when they are getting thrown around . I'm guessing it will be some sort of a hard sided suitcase at the least to maybe a Rubbermaid trunk with...
