We also called VB this morning & can confirm the email was sent in error. I have to say the woman we spoke with (Gail) was superb in terms of her customer service. Gail noted DVC working on a clarification email to go out asap. Much relief on our end this morning!

I spent the last little while searching the internet for info on VB pool area refurb info and have come up blank. Earlier tonight I sent Disney an email expressing my disappointment. Hopefully I'll get a reply from them that at least has more specific information.

Unfortunately the date at the top of the email refers to November 2019 and the body of the text says ‘some or all of the following will be unavailable during your visit’. At this point I can only hope we can use the kiddie pool and splash pad for the grandkids at least part of the time.

I know DVC members can park at DVC resorts and theme parks for free but can we park at the Swan/Dolphin for free also if we have dinner reservations at Garden Grove? If not can we park at the Y/B Clubs instead?

Does anyone have a map of the Vero Beach Main Inn building layout? I've seen the property map and the room layouts, but I'm actually looking for ocean view room locations on the 3rd and 4th floor for optimum beach views. Room numbers would also be a big help.

I'm having problems with the Von site accepting my Canadian credit card in the zip code area. I've tried all the tricks... I have a secondary US address associated with my credit cards which should work but doesn't... I've done the 3 numbers from the poastal code and added 2 zeroes, didn't work...

Storyteller's Cafe has 'old fashioned banana stuffed french toast' on the breakfast menu. I've personally have never had it so I can't compare it to Kona's but I do remember someone on these boards saying they liked it better than the WDW version.

I don't understand the thinking behind the late April closure of POTC and I'm hoping it's just a rumour. We're well over the 60 day maximum for booking Blue Bayou so it couldn't be booked now anyway. We'll be there April 28 thru May 8. Crowd levels should be super low.
