Anyone tried the Expedia $200 off deal?

I was just booking my Christmas trip to visit family, and I saw that the 200.00 off deal for the Summer includes Florida. Has anyone tried to see if this includes any WDW hotels? I tried reading the fine print, but they weren't very specific.

    O'hana or Kona for dinner

Kona!!! Ohana's is very loud and rushed. I felt like they were trying to turn tables over as fast as they could. Kids are running around, etc. Kona has wonderful food, you will love it!

Chip and Dale at the Garden Grill

Sorry, I think you just got a bad wait person. They should bring you more of anything you want. We found the service a tad slow, but our kids were happy and we were interacting with the characters, so it was OK. It's a must for future trips for us. :sunny:

AHCK! No DDP on the Land/Sea?

I've run into 2 stumbling blocks in trying to plan our first family cruise. Now I find out that the DDP is not available for the land portion? Why wouldn't it be, if I'm staying at a Disney resort? It's going to be sooooo expensive if I book a at WDW stay and a cruise separately isn't it? :sad2:

Chip and Dale at the Garden Grill

My DS 8 and 5... favorite place. Food is better than average, not great, but a nice quiet change from the parks, lots of character interaction, kids get to decorate their own cupcake.

    Land/Sea Concierge Booking ?

I just tried to book our Land/Sea cruise for June 2007. I asked for a cat 3 or 4. We'll probably go with the 4.... so much cheaper. But, I wanted concierge on the land portion. We had concierge at the Poly last Summer and were spoiled. :goodvibes My TA says you have to book the cruise...

    Coral Reef or Kona Cafe???

Kona is the best restaurant at WDW (IMO). The portions aren't huge at Kona, but my DH and DS are big eaters and they both said that Kona was their favorite also. On the DDP with an appetizer, entree, and dessert- everyone will be stuffed. Enjoy!

Honestly, how crowded are the kids clubs?

We are planning our first cruise, DH, me, and DS 5 and 8. My 5 year old has separation anxiety and my 8 year old doesn't do well with crowds. Do you think we should stick to our land WDW vacation? Or would they enjoy the cruise?

DCL Concierge- What does it include?

Our first Disney family trip we did concierge at the Poly and loved it, now we are planning our first Land/Sea cruise. We want to know what concierge entails on the DCL. All I have read is that they deliver "goodies" throughout the day and arrange to have packages delivered to your room. Is...

    Polynesian v. Yacht Club?

The Poly also has the boat access to MK and Grand Floridian. The boat is quick and fun, but at night after Wishes.... its wonderful to hop on the boat while the huge crowd of people are waiting to get on the monorail. Also, Poly has its own beach for the kiddos to play and to watch the water...

    Tour Guide Mike

TGM is wonderful for someone new to Disney (like me). I agree you have to spend a little time to go through his material. Another advantage is the TGM boards are very friendly to people (like me) that ask new and maybe sometimes dumb questions. ;)

    Good rest for kids DTD?

We are doing "Quest" one afternoon late. What's a good place to take the kids to dinner? We've been to Rainforest Cafe many times, we have one locally. My boys are 4 and 8 and they sit through meals well. :)
