I added my phantom people to MDE account, and won't let me make FF+ until 30 days out.
Is the reason I can't do 60 is because they are not hocked to our hotel reservations
Is there any way around this or just have to wait for the 30 days

I believe we have discussed that you need to group at least one onsite guest with the phantoms when booking.

Please read ScrapYap's thread where "umbrella" is discussed.

You don't have to wait. You just have to make sure you have at least one on-the-reservation guest included in with group for phantoms or guests who are not on the reservation when you make FP+ at 60 days out .

If the other guests have valid tickets remaining, you can prebook FP+ on their profiles and use their bands to access them. If they have no tickets, you can still get SDFP+ (scan at kiosk) with those bands.

They have 2 day tickets. So I won't be able to do fp at the 60 day mark selections past 2 days under their names?

That's correct. You can only book FPs in advance when ticket entitlements are linked to the specific MDE Profile/line.

The MBs can only be used at a kiosk for SDFPs.

I'm wanting to use the 2 account linked umbrella method for 8 free will call tickets that I received from Disney Guest Services. So I don't have actual tickets but I will need 4 of the 8 for my upcoming trip and I would like to have the remaining 4 as 2nd set 60+ FBs. So does anyone know how that would work? I have never added will call tickets to an account but I'm sure I can do that part easily. And I'm sure I can set the 60+ FB up for one day for all 8 people. So I guess my question is, when I go to GS to get the real tickets, will they have names associated with the tickets if I have already designated them for a certain person or will they just be unassigned tickets?

The plastic tickets you'll be issued will match up with specific Will Call confirmation #s. Take a Sharpie and write the phantom name on each ticket.

Yes, remember it's based on RFID and tickets aren't necessary.

Great thanks! I got confused bc when I pre-booked and when I modify, it always notifies me he doesn't have ticket media...but now that I think about it, it's just for pre-booking that he needs the media.

I hope someone may be able to answer my question on this thread. I have a 10 day ticket which I will use for my holiday in August. I'm considering buying a 1 day ticket to use as a FP generator. I am planning to upgrade to an AP before the 10 day ticket is finished. Would Disney let me trade in the 1 day ticket as well as the remaining 10 day ticket when calculating the remaining cost for the AP?

Does anyone know what the availability of SDFP is at AK if we arrive in the early evening? We are going the week after Thankgsgiving. We would be doing Epcot in the AM and using our FP+ allotment of 3 there because it might be our only time at Epcot and will need to get to the Frozen ride. We would plan to leave Epcot around 1, then rest/swim and head to AK around 5. Mainly want to watch Rivers of Light but it would be nice to maybe ride some rides? I know I have plenty of time to plan but this is bugging me. As a side note we were there in Sep 2016 and did Safaris, EE, Dinosaur, Festival of the Lion King, Nemo Show all in the AM on an EMH day without FP. I think Kali would be fun at night but might be a little cold in late November? Sorry for all the questions, just mainly wondering about the availability of SDFP with out extra bands that family members will give us.

On an unrelated note...is it possible to do Rider Switch at Test Track in the single rider line? DS is 7 this year and could go in the single rider line with DH. However we also have DS5 that would want to go on Test Track. We plan to do Soarin at Rope Drop with Rider Switch. I guess while DH, DS7 and DS5 ride Soarin I could go find a kiosk and try and get SDFP for Test Track? Would one be available in the AM?

I think for me it will be easier to have a dummy MDE account I access through the mobile site and use the app for our regular account. So I just buy a couple of the cheapest MB when we arrive at WDW, tell them to leave them in "link it later" mode, and manually link to the dummy account?

Then make 3 FP selections at a kiosk when we get to each park?

I also understand changes can then be made online, but 4th FP must be booked at a kiosk, correct?
