May 2016.. Let the planning begin!

Well, after the gut-wrenching cancellation of SWW, we firmed up our dates:

May 14-21 (leaving Seattle in the wee hours on the 14th and leaving Orlando in the wee hours on the 22nd)
Still staying at ASMovies.
ADRs booked and we got every one we wanted, including BOG dinner on our last night! None of us has been there before, so I am extra excited!

Just an FYI - There is an app call itrackbites which is a WW clone. It was $1.99 when I downloaded it 3 years ago and I still use it. Just an idea if you're already used to WW.
 
OMG, my husband has finally landed a new job, and we are looking at booking our WDW trip for the first week of May! YAY!! Now, we just need to find flights in the price range we're comfortable with, and with schedules that wouldn't have us running a marathon between connecting flights. Oh, and my husband needs to get official approval at work for a week's vacation in May. But I am just so darned excited!

Now I'll need to figure out how to have one of those countdown signature thingies. Oh, and renew our passports.

So much fun!!!
 
Just read that they extended the Flower and Garden Festival till the End of May. Originally we were going to miss it by a week and now I will get to enjoy the Festival. I am so excited :dance3::Pinkbounc:Pinkbounc:dance3::banana:

Fingers crossed, I know its a long shot but hoping that The River of Lights at Animal Kingdom is ready when were there. It says Spring 2016 :-):thumbsup2

Ok my 180 day is tomorrow, Can I go online tonight after midnight to make dining reservations or do I have to wait till 7:00 in the morning?

I hadn't seen this! Where did you find this info? My 180 days is tomorrow and now I'm wondering if this might change things up a bit for us....

Thanks, I'll check it out!!...The Mouse for Less still has it showing at ending on May 15th....
 
We caught the tail end of Flower & Garden the last time we were at WDW, so I am glad it's extended through the end of May and we can experience more of it.

My glee is barely contained that Rivers of Light is coming in Spring 2016. When they were still teasing SWW, they said it was coming Summer 2016. Since we're still going on what would potentially have been opening weekend of SWW, I am hoping that means Rivers of Light is open well before we get there.

We are going Memoriial weekend. Did not know there might be discounts. How do we find out about them?
 
We are in for - May! May 27 to June 2nd. So hoping for a discount of some sort. Nervous about the crowds and heat as our last trips have been October and November. We just can't pull the kids out of school anymore and sports schedules. So May it is and will skip the last day of school.

We will be there May 25-June 2. We were there the same week in 2014. It was hot, but to us crowds were not too bad. Only 178 days! Adrs are booked, now we wait for the 60 day mark when we can book FP+.
