Where are you staying on your next Disneyland Trip and Why?

Yeah, that 30% off is really tempting. But not being able to cancel or even move it?? Too big of a risk. I'll spend the $100+ with the 20% discount and have some peace of mind.

I definitely understand that , I typically book at the 20% off rate then recheck the week before for the 30% off or when I know plans won't change. It definitely varies by family/ needs but either way it's a great option.

We are staying at the Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance. The kids (12 and 4) are super excited about those water slides! We got a firework view room, and they're pretty excited about that as well. We'll be there Aug 24-30, with 5-day park hopper tickets.

Last time we stayed at Park Vue Inn, and while I really liked the location and free breakfast, I am looking forward to staying in a nice, new room with clean carpets this time around! :)

We are staying at the Sheraton Park because of the Awesome rates we were able to get. I was able to make a reservation (that I can cancel up to 48 hours before) for $105.00 a night. I have to seen rates this low at this hotel in years. Note if you are not a member, they charge for Internet.

Has anyone used the Entertainment book for a discount at a Best Western hotel? I have reservations in June. I'm wondering if it's worth buying and using the discount (seems like there is one, not sure, though). I wonder if there are black out dates?

We will stay at the DLH Concierge level. Being a business owner makes for a hectic life. I get 5 days off a year. So I make the most of it.
I am completely spoiled at the hotel then it is back to reality until next year when I do the same thing.

We are staying at VGC in deluxe studio, renting dvc points. This is my 1st visit to California & Disneyland & only staying 4 nights so want to be as close to the parks as possible & see as much as we can! So staying here should save us time & be a relaxing 1st trip!

We just checked out of a 3 night stay from Red Lion Anaheim, as we got a killer deal on Priceline for $55/ night on Express Deal as through enough research knew what hotel it was before. Yes it does charge $15/night parking and $17.55/night resort fee , however with that included we still saved over $100 from Desert Inn or Candy Cane Inn this trip. We walked it ( two adults) in the morning and chose to Uber back at night for $5 bucks.

Spacious rooms , refrigerator and microwave included and refrigerator kept things very cold. Beds were medium , not overly firm or soft , smallish square pillows but very comfy. EXTRA towels already provided however if a larger family may need more but we had extras still. The body towels runs lightly small but nothing that would stop me from staying here. The A/C is my BIGGEST reason if I will stay or not stay somewhere again as both hubby and me like it cold and need it as such. It's a window unit but works well even though the fondest is 68 it feels colder and I was surprised when I had to turn it up at night.

Water pressure was VERY GOOD. Temperature was solid and did not go from hot to cold on a whim and was awesome. Toiletries were really solid and my hair is typically picky and kept it very nice !

I noticed walking the halls you could hear people through the doors however in our room it didn't seem an issue. We keep the TV on for background noise anyway but can't comment if light sleepers would have issues. Wifi was awesome and my hubby is an IT manager so he's lucky LOL.

So definitely a will stay again for us for the right price. If flying even better , just be educated about the resort fee and it's a solid hotel for us for the right price !

We will be staying in a studio at the Villas at the Grand Californian using our DVC points. This will be the first time in a studio for a week long trip there. We usually book a one bedroom to have the extra space, kitchen and in room laundry. But this time around, we will either be packing alot of clothes for the week or having to do laundry mid week. We have usually gone to DL late in the year for the holiday overlay so this trip will be a first for us in the springtime. I am praying the weather cooperates too!

We'll try HoJo's next time. Get that Disboards discount you know. ;)

Next 2 already booked stays are at Grand Californian since the location can't be beat I go with the Gay Days convention which makes the price a lot easier to deal with. I may possibly add a summer visit and will probably stay at Hampton Inn for the free breakfast and the full kitchen or price out Park Vue.

We just returned from a stay at DLH and absolutely adored this hotel, but want to stay at Grand Californian next time for the proximity to the parks.

I'm a single mom and I've taken DS 4 times in the past 5 years and our next trip is booked for November. We always stay where I can get the best deal. For the most part, we've always been comfortable and I've never felt unsafe. The only time we stayed somewhere I would not return was the Riviera Motel on Katella. There was no hot water, no place to hang clothes, no table lamps, no pictures or wall decorations, and I had to beg for each towel or wash cloth. We had a fantastic trip, but wow!! that place was the most basic accommodations I have ever experienced :)

We are staying at the Hyatt House. (I wanted to stay at the Courtyard theme park entrance, but for the price difference I couldn't justify it!)
It was reasonably priced, it's still walking distance, I love that it's new, there is a Walgreens attached to it which is perfect as we will need stuff for the kiddo, free wifi, a fridge and microwave, the rooms look spacious and they have a free breakfast which looks decent enough! :)

I just got back last night from staying at the Hyatt House on the corner of Katella and Harbor. I really liked this hotel, and would stay here again. I stayed in the 2 queen studio and enjoyed all of the space.

6 nights at DLH in October (after 2 in San Diego). We've stayed at HoJo's and the new Courtyard previously, as well as 2 nights at DLH.
It's all on-property this next trip because it's our Honeymoon!

Hi Everyone, I'm staying at the Residence Inn Maingate 3/21-28/17. I'm traveling with my Mom and my Aunt and the penthouse suite here has a semi private loft that I think will work out great for us. If anyone has stayed here in this room please let me know your thoughts.
