I would note that as your only request for online check-in. For us, we got a map and a room number e-mailed to us. If your room is too far out, go to the check in desk and request something closer.

Considering AOA for our next trip. I like the look of the cars rooms. Are they too far from the food court? Any benefits or negatives to this section? Any advice appreciated
We stayed cars in 2015 and Nemo in 2016
We actually found our Cars Room better located because it was pretty close to Cars Pool (laundry), lobby, and our car in the parking lot.
With our Nemo room, we were walking around the pool to get to things and were definitely farther from our car in the parking lot. I guess in the Nemo room, we were closer to the main pool for sure and probably the lobby, but it just didn't feel that much closer. (Even though we were closer to the main pool, we had to drag our laundry around more than we did in Cars suite because of the location of the laundry room)
So my answer is that it depends on your building assignment.

I would agree that if someone is planning to use their own car for transportation at Disney, I wouldn't recommend a Nemo room -- it's always going to be a long walk to a parking lot from either of the buildings. I'd pick Cars or Lion King and request a room close to the parking lot when not planning to use Disney transportation. We loved our location in Bldg. 5 of the Nemo section but that's because it was conveniently located for the things we use the most -- bus transportation, food court, and pool. It was *not* close to a parking lot though and the 2 times I needed to get something from the car I felt like I had walked a mile by the time I got back to the room. It also wouldn't have been convenient if I was doing a lot of laundry while there (but I rarely do any and if I do, it's just one or two loads). We also loved the LK suites because our room locations there were both close to the things we use as well.

Hi there does anyone know if you can get a cot for a child. We will have 6 in the room but I think my son and daughter would rather sleep separately if possible. Thanks all

Actually they may have them but it is first come first serve and Values are very limited. You can ask at check in.

Do the Little Mermaid rooms have hairdryers? i read somewhere that they don't! tell me it isn't true

Hi

We are staying in a little mermaid room for a few days next summer at the start of our trip. We will arrive at the resort pretty late, will their be help available with our luggage or do we need to take it to the room by ourselves.
Sorry if it's a silly question.
Thanks.

Hi, this is our first trip to Disneyworld staying at AofA third week of August and we are so excited and looking forward to it. I have a question about the wifi coverage inside the hotel rooms. I've heard that it is almost non existent. Is that true? Unfortunately, due to work commitments, I will need to spend a portion of my time working. Am thinking of purchasing some type of wifi to go plan but haven't done a lot of research on this yet. Worse comes to worse, I'll have to lug my laptop to the cafeteria. Can anyone comment of the wifi coverage and any recommendations of a wifi to go plan?
Company will be reimbursing me for the wifi to go plan so that's my preference if the hotel wifi is crappy.

Thanks in advance.

Hi! My whole family is staying at AoA but my DH and I are staying at AKL. We have a car for the week - will they let us drive in and park there to pick up family members, etc? Or is that only allowed for registered guests?
Thanks!!!

You will have no problems.

Hi all,

I am really tossing up with the idea of a rental car. This will be my first time to WDW coming from Australia - where we drive on the other side! i have driven a car once in hawaii, and found it tricky at first, but got used to it after a while.
Staying in the Little Mermaid rooms, i know it will save us a lot of walking. however, it is an added expense to think about.
I love the idea of the freedom, to park hop, and to go to resorts as we please.
I don't love the idea that i will need to watch what i drink. i am not a huge drinker, but i like to enjoy the occasional cocktail - especially on holiday.
I will be visiting with my Mother, who is not in the best shape, and is also not a great driver. i don't feel comfortable with her sharing the car duties, with her driving on the other side.

we are looking at about $450-$800 for two weeks car hire. (under 25 so that bumps up the price). i could lie and put my mother down as the driver to lower the price, but i worry about the risks.

What would you do?

We have had a vehicle with us 4 times (we drove down those times) and every time it was sitting in the same spot when we checked out. We just didn't feel the need to use it. Now during those 4 trips we did not have any ADRs at other resorts. When we do have ADRs at other resorts and don't have a car we take a taxi. I know some people like having a car at WDW but we have never felt the need. I just don't like to drive while on vacation and if I had to worry about driving on the other side of the road, there's no way. Just my $.02.

Hello,

Can someone confirm what kind of coffee "pod" the suites take? It doesn't look like they are the keurig brand. I've read people buying their own pods from prime pantry, can someone post a link as an example? I don't want to make a mistake.

Thanks in advance!
